This was the only beer at my fiancé's aunt's house for Christmas. I gave it a shot, and it is now my favorite beer. Most grocery stores carry it, but few restaurants do unfortunately.

I saw them drinking this beer in 'Social Network' and it made me want to try it. It's actually pretty good. It was the full-bodied version. Haven't had the light one yet.

For real though lol this beer is DELCIOUS, compared to most crap here in America, ya know the "stand-by's - Budweiser, Miller, Coors" It's so good ice-cold. St. Pauli Girl is made in the same Brewery as Beck's and is just as good. More skunky, tastier I think.

@baddmaddogg Very strong odor when you open the bottle, it's a mashing of the ingredients that gives that smell, Beck's beer is almost the same as St. Pauli Girl, made in the same brewery, very similar in taste, & brewed in accordance with the German purity law, so there's no rice or corn used. Just barley, hops, water, & yeast. St. Pauli is better in my opinion, next time you go to the liquor store buy a 6 pack, drink it really cold, it's DELICIOUS beer, you'll, it's a clean German beer.

It is not the most drinking Beer here but one of theme, because the price. Beck's is my favourite Beer and millions of German People will be say you the same.

@Metalshad0 LOL not exactly but Becks is the beer powerhouse in export its most popular. Germans pretty much drink any beer that they get there hands on. Some beers are better some are not so good it really depends Krombacher is good but i would say its the best :D its all the way you say it. and there are alot of different becks flavors. there is lime, gold etc etc. they only export the green bottles from what i have heard (original)

German bier Commercials are pretty corny compared to ours in Anglophone countries. Of course German beer is also much better than beer produced in the English speaking world as a rule. Beer is more like a religion there than we could ever understand. Zum Beispiel, die Krombacher Werbung, die ins Kino spielt, mit einer Flasche unter dem klaren Wasser, und so weiter.
