Thanks to Atlus U.S.A., I got introduced to not only Marvelous Entertainment (Japanese publisher of Contact, Luminous Arc series, Steal Princess), but also to the former's in-house games like SMT and Trauma Center, to name a few.

PS: Is Atlus Japan doing some sort of compilation to the Power Instinct franchise? Both SNK & Capcom did some, to their fighting games.

ExoYggdrasill: i dont think atlus is wrong in doing all these princess games, most males dont mind as long as the games are good, and they never stoped making the cool games with male leads they always do. So I dont think its bothering anyone so far, and it might end up wining them many female members. Althought id expect this strategy from NIS who has prinnies, not Atlus.

PS: Eye Patches arent cool, with the only exception of the Jubei anime. Still the gameplay looks hot!

Your actually wrong on that. Steal is to take, where as steel is a type of metal. The girl in the vid doesn't seam to relie heavily on metals, so steel doesn't seam to fitting. However, she looks like she may be a pirate, so steal is more fitting.

The theme song is cracking me up. I keep recalling Aunt Ida is John Waters' "Female Trouble": "Get it, Gator! Get it!" Is that Ayumi Hamasaki!? Such peculiar girl-power lyrics from "Climax Studios." I sometimes lament that subversive humor & intentional wackiness in Japanese titles is often lost/omitted in N.A. localizations. But I can't think of any company more likely to do a good job than Atlus. Especially that brilliant machine scribe AtlasARAM. PS - Get It!

a few years ago Climax had announced a PSP remake of Landstalker, and even had a webpage up. On Kan Naito's wiki page there was mention of a Landstalker trilogy in the works. ...then all went quiet.

Steel Princess looks to be what they concentrated on instead.

Considering the fairy sidekick, I'd say Steel Pricess looks to be in the same "universe" as Land Stalker, Dark Savior, and Time Stalker (not to mention Lady Stalker).
