  • You have a pretty cool penny collection. I really like the steel penny pile/tube and the large cent. I have a penny collection myself. I just got my 599th and 600th wheat pennies today; they are 1954-S and 1955-S, and they're in BU condition. They're actually the first wheat pennies that I bought at a coin store; I got the rest of them from change I got back from stores, one of my uncles, coin roll hunting, and probably other places.

  • sir im from philippines...i have old philippine american coins...silver coins..ten centavo coins..dated 1906 to 1919....is there anyone interested...just email me and ill show you the pictures...vhzone_28@yahoo.com.ph

  • Awesome collection dude but you should really put that first penny in a case or only hold it by the sides

  • I have a 1973 Lincoln cent with Kennedy's head facing Lincoln is it rare or valuable

  • i finally got a hold of a 1909 s no vdb but 1.8 mil is low

  • i finally got a hold of a 1909 s no vdb but 1.1 mil is low

  • that VDB is in pretty good condition

  • steel pennies are extremely rare and sell for a ton of cash

  • @retroman241 dumbass

  • @retroman241

How much cash are you talking about. I am about to get two for 80 cents each.

  • i just started out collecting coins, where can i get the linconl's penny set?

    amazing!

  • No flying Eagles? I have some Really Old Trimes (Three cents, Half Dimes, and Silver dollars)

  • you didn´t show the buffalo penny

  • @CHINO13ization u mean the buffalo nickel??

  • @CHINO13ization

    ohh yeah

  • ive been collecting for 3 years i have a red seal 2 doller bill nd a blue seal 1 doller

  • Anyone here aware about the soaring price of copper? You all know the pre1982 cents are 95% copper and with the current price of copper at $4.27, they worth almost 3 cents each. There is a website and it is called coinflation. What is shows is the value of the metal content of coins, from pennies to silver coins. With the current prices of copper, if you have $100 in cents dated 1982 and back, the copper value is $281.51.

  • please tell me what a -D or -S is??? Whats an S and a D??

  • @ToxicCoodies S is San Fransico and D is Denver, its just the Mint markings, where they were minted at

  • i got all the books except before 1941 and i got most of the slots filled

  • Hahahaha!! Your collection ain't shit compared to mine. I got them all except 1909 S, 1914 D, and a plain 1922, which I will be getting soon, got 2 09 VDBs 1 is red like new it was only like 30 bucks. About $2000 more and it will be complete, then I'm gonna start upgrading the few that are in not as good state. I had more than that collection when I was 10.

  • @MrWillson82 dont be a fagget and yell about your collection being better urs is shit if u dont even have the 1914d penny, i have it and im 14 and mines in vf.

  • @pokemonalex1147 Actually since that post I've got the 1914d (ef) that god damn thing was expensive!! Plus I got a 1909s, so now I just need a 1922 plain strong reverse and my shits complete..... faggot

  • @MrWillson82 i really dont care i have much more collections than u , i have a full walking liberty half dollars collection besides for 2 of them and they arent in crap condition, and full washington quarter collection with the 1932d and S. I also have a type set thats all full besides for all of the gold coins, a franklin half collection which all of the franklins are Bu. I also have a large cent collection with about 15 all vf and xf and up. I also have a Indian head penny collection.

  • @MrWillson82 as for the Indian head penny collection i have about 20 of them all in xf the ms62 and im about to get the 1877. So dont go be a bitch and bragging about your collection when all you have is one tiny collection!

  • @MrWillson82 I 1909-S VDB is not easy to get right now. There are times dealers won't have them and the price of this rare Lincoln cent has been soaring the past few years. Dealers that have them are now selling them $650-$700 minimum and those would be the ones in Good (G4) Condition. I started this collection back in '82 and completed it in '87 when I got not one but 'two' 1909-S VDBs, one in Fine (F12) Condition and the other in MS64 Condition. Took me five years.

  • Are 1909 VDB cents valuable? I see a lot of them on ebay and I don't know why they are so popular. Could someboady please answer? And I know I am a coin noob lol.

  • @DevonDerksMusic According to govmint, an uncirculated 1909 VDB is worth 129 dollars

  • @DevonDerksMusic 1909vdb pennies are the first year and they have the vdb on the back of the coin unlike all the ones now which are on the front

  • The U S mint has never made a Penny it makes Cents. The Penny name game from Great Britain. If you use the 2 x 2 holders like the ones in this video you need to either use a flat stapler or flatten out the staples to prevent scratches.

  • i want some indian head pennies

  • aw man cut in the large cent must suck :( I have a 1851 in extra fine condition lirberty is fully visible

  • hey people /im a collector myself and im only 12 years old and Ive been collecting for 3 years now /come look at my videos of my coin collections and my paper money and stamps and comics come now and look at them .bye.

  • coincollector.proboards . com

  • what do they mean by bdb and vdb

  • @yankovic1234 VDB is the initials of victor derrick barber or somthing like the he is the disinger of the lincoln cents

  • cool

  • S,D,P stand for mint marks, S for San Frasisco, D for Denver, and P for Phildalphia. There are others too, but not for Lincoln cents.

  • what means S and D?

  • @Aminaminaminam S is the san fransico mint D is denver and by the way p is pea mint. S are worth the most out of the 3

  • Show me a 1909-S VDB then I'll be impressed.

  • when new videos

  • i have 1 indian head (1880), 1 steel wheat (1943), and a copper wheat (1956). i barley started yesterday, they sell them for 50 cents each in comics and stuff in Plaza Bonita

  • i have a 1857 flying eagle penny

  • cool collection of pennies my favorite coin ever are the indian pennies.

  • Where would i go to buy my coins? Also what is memorial Cents it says it on my Whitman binder

  • Great collection. It will grow over time and you will fill those books.

  • now pennys have union shield =]

  • @crf150kingrider they werent minted in 1803 lol

  • Nice collection btw.

  • get a real book for your coins you noob.. your getting there but not one of these coins are of any real value..

  • @gisbon06

Shut up douche I use the same books as he does and no one has put me down over it. Only a rich puke would spend $30.00 bucks on an album for pennies.

    You suck.

  • Nice penny collection. I happen to have about 470 wheat cents myself, but only 5 Indian Head cents. There is one wheat cent that is my goal to find- the 1909-S VDB cent. If I do find one (assuming it's not counterfeit), I will make a video of it along with some of my other prominent coins. But the chances of that happening are very slim.

  • i dont know much about coins...

i was searching through some old boxes and i found 3 indian head pennies, a 1901 indian head penny, a 1905 indian head penny, and a 1882 indian head penny. I also found 4 wheat pennies from 1943 that are magnetic, and one wheat cent from 1956.

can you tell me a rough estimate of what these are worth?

  • The Indian Cent values are dependent upon how circulated (or worn) the coins are. Could be anything from a few bucks if worn up to hundreds or thousands if they look mint state (like they came off the press yesterday).

The '43 steely pennies are common - if worn they're worth little. If from Denver there's a 1 in a million chance it's worth a fortune if you see a faint double "D" under the "D". :-)

If worn, the 1956 is worthless.

Feel free to write privately if you have more questions.

  • i got 1st indian coin, can see the difference in copper, not the best quality though..

  • do u have the 1922 D?

  • nice

  • where do u get all those

  • yeah where????

  • Nice video. Nice collection. My Lincoln collection is coming along good. It's not all the same grade though like yours. All kinds of grades. I still got a nice collection though.

  • i cleaned my garge and found a 1889 pennie. It was only worth 75 cents because it was so warn down

  • (:then ill buy some

  • damn

  • lol i got 347 linkin weats lol

  • I might start collecting coins soon, does anyone know a good source on where to get them?

  • a local coin store is better because its cheaper.dont buy from the t.v or catalogs.its better for local so you can examine the coins yourself

  • where do you get steel penny's?

  • I have the 1887 penny...

  • Comment removed

  • @bmdmaloclm i got only 1 rusty steel penny

only a few spots are shiny coz i washed it in slat, bakin soda and vinegar

  • Awesome video. Btw, may I suggest getting a dansco book to store your pennies in. It'll keep them safer from the air, and it protects both sides of them.

  • i have a steel penny.

  • Oh my god...That ALOT of steel pennies, I only have like 3 in a little card board thing.

But 5/5, Im glad to see another coin collector out there. Good luck building your collection even larger

  • I was thinking after watching your video that I could get alot of steel cents and putting them on a littleton US Cents album

  • good to see that your '43s are not reprocessed

  • my grandpa has

  • they stopped making the steels in 43 and what do you mean by circulation? still making em or condition?

  • Do you have any Canadian pennies? If not I suggest starting with one from 1800s... They are the big pennies. The small pennies started being made here in about 1920....

  • where did you get your 1909 vdb penny

  • I found that one on ebay during the super bowl last year.

  • How much did you get for it?

  • It has been a long time I don't remember, but it wasn't too much or I wouldn't have bought it.

  • btw, the moron comment was directed at

    angeloc1998. lol

  • I figured that,lol

  • bmdmaloclm, two questions. Being a collector myself, I was wondering where I can find those folders you use for a relatively cheap price. Also, I am guessing that you buy/find the coins, not metal dectect correct? Thanks.

  • You can find the coin flips at coin shows, coin shops. But I got mine from ebay. and I do not own a metal collector, But I really really want one.

  • haha 1943 steel penny moron. lol

  • yep,lol

  • Hi, have you subscribed to me?, well im am going to do a q&a video this coming up wednesday. I will include your question and i will answer it in the video. If you subscribe to me It will show up on the homepage of youtube once i post it

  • hay nice vid,you know Wat cool a fund a 1918 penny in pretty good condition at a coinstar lol hay is a 1971-s a rare date tho?

  • no the 1971-s is not rare.

  • Ya I have cotton gloves but I dont need them for the raw coins I showed you. Most of the coins not in flips are duplicates.

  • also, before you get some more expensive ones like, the 11 D, 11S, 09 S VDB and 14 D, be sure to crimp all the staples down on your 2x2 paper flips, it is prettty common for those to scratch another coin in storage. Nice collection man, keep it going!

  • By the way my coin flips are all ready crimped.

  • cool, just wanted to save some of your coins!

  • The video was shot after I put them in the flips. I did not have time to crimp them. But I did after the vid.

  • i am made your taking all the steel cents i need 7 for my collection and i have no steel

  • Well sorry but it is very hard to find them in lose change, they are not that expensive, you can buy some at any coin shop.

  • just send 5 to me its not fial i have to travel 20 miles to a coin shop to get coin and i dont have that type of money

  • there is no coin shop near me ether, I got mine off ebay.

  • Glad I got you hooked. lol, That looks like a good site wizard coin supply, how much was there shipping?

  • recommend getting the dansko penny album to protect em

  • Thanks, I had no choice my mom broke my other camera so I upgraded.
