He was clearly joking... I don't understand why so many people who aren't North American have to go on about their coverage, give it a rest, these guys are great and you don't even know anything about them. You can't judge them from one little comment in a 44. second video.
@OnePieceSanjiRobin Well, Murray doesn't even commentate anymore...even if he did It makes sense that they dont have Murray since they broadcast in America.
@puddingpants7 Well, I don't know who commentates on the NA coverage. I have no possibility to watch it on my TV, but I don't like the current British commentary, Murray>>>>>>>>David(>James) I just watch the Dutch commentary (although it drops in quality as well)
But within the clips from 2001 and earlier on I like Murray's commentary the best.
@puddingpants7 I'm not quite sure to be honest, but I do know, from other people commenting on other videos, that they used to commentate on old/past Formula 1 races on SPEED. If that's true I wish they would commentate for more past Formula 1 races, it's always nice to hear pre-V8 era sounds and watch a good race!
@Lucariooooo Well I think maybe I could piece it together if I tried lol . Yes I remember Varsha commentating early 90's too but I don't remember if Hobbs was there too and I know Steve would be at Benetton still in the 90's . I agree! Unfortunate they couldn't tho, not their fault :P lol.
Well actually no. When a brake failure occurs, the back wheels lock and you get a lot of black brake dust. The wheels seieze in a brake failure, rather than just the brakes becoming uneffective. You can clearly see in this video there is no brake dust and all the wheels are still turning perfectly normally. Fernando made a mistake by jumping the kerb, but who cares. All drivers have incidents during their debut seasons. It's to be expected, and he performed very well that year anyway!
@hhJACK92 That wasnt a brake failiure! He was pushing too hard, and was inexperienced back then, and jumped the kerb trying to gain time, and was spat into the wall
Maybe alguersuari is the next spanish to become good driver from STR :P. He is younger also than alonso was by some months. Jaime is the youngest he has many time.
wasnt a mistake...He lose the brakes 2 laps before the crash.
