  • wasnt a mistake...He lose the brakes 2 laps before the crash.

  • best of it, everyone like him crashing ^^

  • American commentators really don't do it for me when it comes to F1. It's just.. weird.

  • These commentators are retarded.

  • Even then the commenter said, the young spanish who has a great potential... and now is one of the bests pilots in history

  • @DeathNightmares I think "in history" is a little generous, but then you're very young.

  • What a noob Alonso is. Go back to DTM!

  • @martinh88 Beyond stupid, comment.

  • @martinh88 He never was in DTM!

  • Probably the best italian car he's driven

  • from a technical point of view that car is out of the race...and u wonder why the euro commentary is better..

  • @Gummby69 I'm pretty sure he was being facetious ....

  • He was clearly joking... I don't understand why so many people who aren't North American have to go on about their coverage, give it a rest, these guys are great and you don't even know anything about them. You can't judge them from one little comment in a 44. second video.

  • @puddingpants7 well, they just don't have Murray.

  • @OnePieceSanjiRobin Well, Murray doesn't even commentate anymore...even if he did It makes sense that they dont have Murray since they broadcast in America.

  • @puddingpants7 Well, I don't know who commentates on the NA coverage. I have no possibility to watch it on my TV, but I don't like the current British commentary, Murray>>>>>>>>David(>James) I just watch the Dutch commentary (although it drops in quality as well)

But within the clips from 2001 and earlier on I like Murray's commentary the best.

  • @Gummby69 Pay no attention to the laugh after that comment. Idiot.

  • WTF?! Ralf Schumacher in P1... o_O

  • @lol291090 Ralf also won the race :D

  • ha algursuari isn't the youngest driver in f1!

  • @wallaces44

    yes he was

  • @wallaces44 he is,debuted at toro rosso at age 18.

  • @MrHumerousify 19 and 1 month (Alonso 19 and 5(?) months)

  • @wallaces44 No he is the youngest pilot to race in formula 1 history... Alonso formerly held the title.

  • @puddingpants7 now the youngest is Jaime Alguersuari

  • @Cohraps I just confirmed that...

  • Wow, he can barely see out!

  • how long has Bob varsha, David Hobbs and Matchett been commentating?

  • @puddingpants7 I'm not quite sure to be honest, but I do know, from other people commenting on other videos, that they used to commentate on old/past Formula 1 races on SPEED. If that's true I wish they would commentate for more past Formula 1 races, it's always nice to hear pre-V8 era sounds and watch a good race!

  • @Lucariooooo Well I think maybe I could piece it together if I tried lol . Yes I remember Varsha commentating early 90's too but I don't remember if Hobbs was there too and I know Steve would be at Benetton still in the 90's . I agree! Unfortunate they couldn't tho, not their fault :P lol.

  • bring back san marino

  • good times good times

  • EUROPEAN! its a car, it doesn't matter

  • Minardi xP

  • They joke like oooo!!

  • too much aggression

  • Alondo went from Minardi to Ferrari LOL

  • NOT a mistake. This was a brake failure.

  • Well actually no. When a brake failure occurs, the back wheels lock and you get a lot of black brake dust. The wheels seieze in a brake failure, rather than just the brakes becoming uneffective. You can clearly see in this video there is no brake dust and all the wheels are still turning perfectly normally. Fernando made a mistake by jumping the kerb, but who cares. All drivers have incidents during their debut seasons. It's to be expected, and he performed very well that year anyway!

  • @hhJACK92

    Break pedal become soft.

  • @hhJACK92 That wasnt a brake failiure! He was pushing too hard, and was inexperienced back then, and jumped the kerb trying to gain time, and was spat into the wall

  • 19 years old

  • poor fernando had to learn on this bad bad minardi. i'm lucky that he moved to renault and won the world championship two times!

  • Maybe alguersuari is the next spanish to become good driver from STR :P. He is younger also than alonso was by some months. Jaime is the youngest he has many time.
