  • "nice entrence, either you've never heard of a DOOR or you just like pulling glass out of your shorts!"

    J has a point

  • joker = dangerous

    robin = cutest

    batman = toughest

    two face = lamo

    :) = love it! plz reply

  • @uncatchableshadows How is Two-face lame. Have you ever dealt with someone with bi-polar disorder? It's not pretty.

  • @derrickdlr actuly, my best friend is bypolar. sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..............................YOU GOT NOTHIN AGAINST AN 11 YEAR OLD 6TH GRADE GIRL! HA! :)

  • @uncatchableshadows I grew up with a bipolar mother who was aggresive. Having a friend with that condition and a close relative are two complete different perspectives. Dont start.

  • @derrickdlr You morons, two face is not bi-polar. Being bi-polar is for pussies. He has split personality disorder. Harvey Dent and Two Face are different people in the same body.

  • Wait a minute, I thought after they changed the art style Dick became Nightwing. When did this happen?

  • @MJTRadio This is a flashback scene from the episode that tells why Dick left the Robin mantle behind and became Nightwing.

  • i would like to see more robin (dick grayson) cause i honestly dont remember them.

  • In my view, nothing tops Batman the animated series' art deco style. They obviously had a bigger budget to work with and were not trying to juggle numerous cartoon series at that point. Sure, BTAS had an exagerrated quality to it, but it worked in the context of its noir-inspired setting. BTAS nailed the noir/pulp theme on the head. These later efforts felt too forced, both in writing and in their art direction.

  • Either you don't like using a door, or you like to pull glass out of your ass

  • this joker is weird what is up with his eyes

  • I hate the way this Joker looks.

  • what series is this from? batman the animated series?

  • @ninjannn10 The New Batman Adventures. It's the sequel series.

  • I just saw some BTAS and somehow by comparison the animation of the new adventures really sucks. I mean, shouldn't it improve in time or something?

  • @jdhayson

    It was redrawn purposefully to be similar to the new Superman cartoon series for crossovers. They were simplified to make the characters easier to draw, the animation smoother and be more appealing.

  • @JcBravo8

    Yes, I heard about it but the lack of lipstick makes Joker's face- - well, empty. And annoys me, too.

  • @jdhayson As far as I know he doesn't wear lipstick. The chemicals turned his lips red along with his skin white and hair green. I could always be wrong though. Which really irks me. If it's something a chemical did, which MADE the joker the joker, why would someone go and take it away? It makes no sense to draw him that way. One drug I don't want to know that someone was on.

  • @AGracelessLady Of course you're right. I do know about the chemicals, I guess I should have written 'red lips' instead of lipstick. Anyway, Joker's origins were never explained in B:TAS and in good tradition of The killing Joke all we know about his past was contradictory. Back to the point: lack of red lips was a poor and illogical design choice for the new series. I wonder what the reason was? Were they afraid that someone would think Joker was gay? They had Harley to disprove it already.

  • @JcBravo8 Sorry, but this style was a step down from the previous seasons. Perhaps the faltering quality had more to do with both this and Superman falling under the same budget pool at WB. The previous seasons had an authentic looking film noir look to it, whereas this looked as though it were taking shortcuts. The writing was also comparably weak to the previous series as well.

  • @jstephenj

    they wanted to do superman crossovers without the batman characters looking like they were from another world, allegedly, so they changed bat animation to supes animation. there's no denying that was a downgrade though. i could stand the lesser animation if it wasn't for the new joker eyes though.

  • @NoTrueFace1 I hated the new Joker design as well, but found the Tim Drake design to be god awful as well -- especially with the ginormous eyes drawn on his tiny head.

  • @jstephenj I hate the new Joker design too although his design in "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" was enhanced.

  • @NoTrueFace1 Wish they just animated Superman like they did the old BTAS

    but the cheaper way always wins sadly
