wow the dancing is amazing! w/ the Persian/Georgian thing, from an outsider's view the dancing looks similar (not identical) in costuming & style. I do see big differences in the mood of the dancing; especially the men's. Both Persian and Georgian are superb dance styles. The music also has some similarities in terms of the drums. Probably the people like all neighboring countries have similarities & differences. Look at a satellite photo & u will not see national borders, just a shared world.

Between 1386 and 1404, Timur invaded Georgia and from then on, Georgia was under the control of the Ottoman and the Persian Empires. Eventually, Georgia broke free in 1762. And then, in 1824, it was annexed by Russia.
