I am delighted to see this movie clip being uploaded. Thanks! This is one of the few mythical movie with very good stylish effects. Notably the way the fairies flew. Really put superman to shame. You got to watch it to believe. Ling Bo's portrayal as the tree demon was so captivating that she stole the scene each time she appeared. Her deadly hair when unleashed, could travel a hundred miles is one of the most gobsmacking scene ever made and only ever seen in the last segment of this movie.
I have been looking for this movie on DVD (I have a copy in VHS but it is very old now that the quality is fading)... Do you know if the company has released a DVD copy yet? Thanks.
I have been waiting for Golden Swallow release for many years but yet to see it on the shelves. I watched this movie 20 years ago at the cinema but I could still remember many of the superb images that you don't see them nowadays. My advice to you is to convert the VHS into a DVD recording before the VHS deteriorates any further. Good to know that there is still someone who appreciates such movies.
I like the music at 3:06 and the ending song of this movie... They should have a soundtrack!
