Hey, didn't you realise the easy way to remember which is which? Treat white as 'minus' and green as 'plus'. Then you go 'minus' + 'minus' = 'minus' (- + - = -), 'minus' - 'minus' = 'plus' (- - - = +) etc... You know, we learn that rule in primary school. LOL.
