  • just saw Burton in SoCal this weekend. great as always. i understand everyone has the right to play music, but to tour as the GW without BC and RB really is false advertising. not sure how these guys got control of the name, but its a damn shame.

  • Lame,no Peterson,no G.W

  • KEEP TRYING U ASSHOLES SUCK . HANG IT UP.

  • Not even close. Help him out ! Out the door maybe.

  • Heck, that's not even the Wonder Who!

  • What a butcher job and total disgrace of a fake band.

  • Even Burton Cummings talk about this imposter in is show in Montréal this week !!!

Maybe if people stop to go to the show they ll stop !!!!!!

  • Whats wrong with that drummer? Can't he swing!!

  • That is f---ing awful!!!! Blahhhhhhhhh!

  • so their elderly alcoholic bass player was once in the original group for a couple hits.....doesn't make this pathetic act The Guess Who. Can't believe they advertise for their tours using the original groups albums and pictures. Burton, Kurt, Domenique, Randy, Wallace, or Leskiw wouldn't have anything to do with these twits. Did you HEAR that note this PHONEY tries to hit at 3:36.

This is not the Guess Who.

  • guess whoooo?????!!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha...

  • YOU KNOW THAT SHINEDOWN DOES A GREAT BAD COMPANY,, PAUL RODGERS SINGS LEAD FOR QUEEN NOW ,,, THE NEW LYNYRD SKYNRD IS GREAT EVEN WITH RONNIE GONE ,, GET OVER IT BACHMAN LEFT SO DID CUMMINGS NOW ITS DIFFERENT SO WHAT LIFE GOES ON FOR SOME YOU CANT LIVE IN THE PAST YOU GOT TO ROLL WITH THE FLOW IF YOU HATE THIS BAND NOW FINE DONT LISTEN TO THEM GO LISTEN TO BACHMAN -CUMMINGS REST IN PEACE RONNIE AND FREDDIE

  • THERE THERE ARE ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED LOL

  • Bachman stated in a CBC interview on February 7, 2005 that it was unlikely he and Cummings would ever again tour as The Guess Who. Bachman-Cummings have released two Canadian albums under the Bachman-Cummings name titled "Jukebox", and the "Bachman-Cummings Songbook"; they are currently touring with Bon Jovi.

  • While still also performing individually and with their own bands, Bachman and Cummings, backed by Toronto's Carpet Frogs, have been touring together since 2005. Having failed to win the rights to use The Guess Who name, they have adopted the moniker Bachman-Cummings.

  • Carl Dixon, SINGING LEAD.....Jim Kale, Laurie MacKenzie, Garry Peterson, Leonard Shaw. BUT CARL WAS ALMOST KILLED IN A CAR CRASH AND THEY DID NOT WAIT FOR HIM TO GET BETTER SO THEY GOT ANOTHER GUY , NAMED Derek Sharp,, CARL IS BETTER AND DOING MUSIC AGAIN BEFORE HE JOINED THE GUESS WHO HE HAD A BAND CONEY HATCH ,,BURTON AND CUMMINGS ARE STILL PLAYING IN CANADA AFTER RANDY LEFT THE GUESS WHO OF COARSE HE HAD BACHMAN TURNER OVER DRIVE ,,

  • @aerosmithlisa Of course they didn't wait for Carl to get better. These guys have no shame or class. Besides musicians like these are a dime a dozen.

  • Carl Dixon, SINGING LEAD.....Jim Kale, Laurie MacKenzie, Garry Peterson, Leonard Shaw.

  • This ain't The Guess Who!

  • The question is,Kale might own the name 'The Guess Who" but does he pay Royalties to Burton and Randy who hold the rights to the songwriting of specific songs..Like Randy always said,The money is in producing and writing your own music..,So Really Kale,Pay up you letch...What a slime...

  • f*cking ban this shit/band for sure - Burton IS the guess who.........period.

  • This is NOT The Guess Who....Kale's Klones....Wannabes. No Cummings no GW!

  • Seems to be a Guess Who tribute band.

  • Pretty weak compared to Cummings' vocals.

  • Not the Guess Who as I knew them....but....this was excellent!!!!!

I'm sure that Randy and Burton would be impressed!!!!!

  • lead singer looks like Rick Allen of Deaf Leopard.

  • AHHH ! A "TRIBUTE" band! The author has no ledger to balance with people dedicated to impersonate their idols.Personally, The Guess Who (& any crowd able to ressurect the same) are tops.(Provided said "Tribute Band" remain- a "Tribute Band..........)

  • These assholes are not the Guess Who! Jim Kale, an unprofessional drunk kicked out of the band in 1972.

  • Everyone, please DO NOT purchase a ticket to see these imposters. Please DO what you can to support Bachman/Cummings.

  • Jim Kale and his band of imposters make me sick. He goes around the world calling his group The Guess Who, and it is a sham. I dont care how good his band sounds. Without Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman it is NOT THE GUESS WHO . Period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I imagine that, under different circumstances, these musicians are good. Not so much here. Still, Jim has to make a living somehow. I think this tarnishes the band name, though. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, I guess.

  • Can someone please tune these guitars and then teach them how to play the song? Randy Erwin of ESI in Minneapolis is respondsible for booking these goobers and flimflamming the US public with a band that no one in Canada wants to see or hear anymore. Now they even have a Klone Drummer so Kale is the only evil one left.

  • kale and peterson should be ashamed of themselves

  • He's no Burton Cummings. I like the 'original' group; not so much Kale's Klones.

  • So who is the original member in this group????

  • jim kale (bass) and garry peterson (drums).

  • Garry Petersen isn't there. It's a younger guy.

  • I saw them in Epcot about 4 or 5 years ago the did American Woman and it was as good if no better then the original and being 50 years old I guess I can say that. THey did an alternative intro and it was fantastic .

  • I saw these guys in concert about 5 years ago, playing as the Guess Who, they actually did a very good job, and you know, what can you do. It wasn't Burton, but it was better than just OK.

  • Yeah, Kale's Klones aren't the real band, no question, but they're competent enough - and if you see them at a fair free with the price of admission like I did, you don't feel ripped off.. The musicians Kale has are good, and they recreate the songs well enough. As long as you accept that you're basically seeing a high-grade cover band, it's enjoyable.

  • Wow...there's only one guy there who was even in the Guess Who.....and they're not playing the song correctly.

  • Comment removed

  • this even sounds so fake, guess who this band isn't real check the lp's from the late tp mid 70,s,,this band here hasn't been around for 40 year ,now if randy burton was withem yes but this is sicking what kales klones done

  • Well, seems pretty good to me. Even if this isn't who we guessed it was.

  • actually that is the guess who. The original guess who, had a member that was no good for the group, so they canned him. The guy who got canned went back to winnipeg and had the name"the guess who" registered so that NO one could use it without his permission. In other words NO ONE.

He tried to sell the name to cummings and bauchman but they told him basicly to get lost!

  • Guess what that's not the Guess WHO

  • Kurt too! rip

  • I guess if you have a few beers ....NO WAIT BURTON CUMMINGS IS THE GUESS WHO! nuff said

  • Burton and Randy

  • Comment removed

  • By your logic, anyone who could stand

up there and do a reasonably credible

vocal, although not a particularly distinctive one, has the right to be the

lead singer of a once world famous band?? Comeon, do you not giggle at

    your own logic sometimes?

  • For the millionth time, it's not the

performance of the song that's the issue,

the performance is decent, nothing special but it's of professional quality,

but so what???How does that make

them THE GUESS WHO. It's calling

them selves that that's most objectionable, performing the material

is NO problem. Geez figure it out.

  • I already commented several months ago, and got blasted for it... They sound great. and, the vocalist is everything they could've expected as a replacement. The band is 40 Years , for heavens sake.

  • WTH? From the comments about this band I can't beleive it. This is great imo! This guy sounds more like Cummings than Cummings did in the reuion. This band is tight and does the band justice. I seen a very bad version of the Guess Who back in the early 90's and this band has The Original Guess Who sound down to the T imo. This is a GRADE A+. Cummings & Bachman were not as good as this band imho. TOP NOTCH PERFORMANCE!! Thanx 4 posting this!

  • Kareoke

  • I know it's not Burton singing, but Carl Dixon actually sounds pretty darn good on this. He sounds very close to Burton. I'd call them a really good GW cover band.

  • kales klones !

  • You took the words out of my mouth

  • lead singer gets a grade F

  • So... Ringo could get a group of musicians together and go on tour as The Beatles... right?

  • Burton Cummings, and Randy Bachman were the Guess Who. These fools are just imposters...

  • Who is that singing? I think it is the son of the front man of april wine myle's goodwing.

  • Carl Dixon

  • i would never ever even entertain the idea of going to see these people perform. this is not the guess who. go see bachman-cummings instead.

  • this is just wrong period!!!

  • I think the band did a good job. J Kale kept the band alive for many years after Cummings and RB left. If it wasn't for these guys, the guess who name wouldn't have been as strong as it still is.

J Kale owns the ights to the name.

  • No, this is NOT Burton Cummings, BUT have you ever heard the old saying "copying is the best form of flattery"? This man is pretty good on his own, so step back and judge not lest ye shall be judged. Open mike at your end, too if you care to put it up. No one can hold a candle to Burton Cummings voice, but this kid is okay.

  • Hey, they can't be exactly like the Guess Who! Nobody will sound perfect when playing someone else's song, but this isn't bad.

  • these knockoffs butchered this song

  • this isnt the first band that kept going after key members left. granted the main dudes, ohh well, im going to see them in a couple weeks just to see how they are. believe me i wish that it was original but can't have it all in life.

  • It's not too bad but it's not the real Guess Who! Nowhere near them!

  • This is an insult to every long time fan. Mr. Kale may you rot in hell!!

  • what's up with the Low rating this video received? It's just not fair. This lead vocalist sounds great. And, he also sounds ALOT like Randy Cummings. So, after The Guess Who plays for 40 years.... They Sound GREAT.

  • it aint the original singer and guitarist though we need randy bachman and burton cumming back

  • Hey davehiggod, it's Burton Cummings, and this band is good, but it's NOT the guess who, it's just Kale's Klones, which is why this video got a low rating, at least in my view.

  • the singer is from a canadian band called coney hatch. That is jim kale on bass and gary peterson on drums. They are original members.I agree that it isn't the same without burton on vocals, but they still sound pretty good to me.

  • stevewpg2008- that is NOT garry peterson on drums.

  • you are correct.whoops!

  • Who is this guy singing? This is not the The Guess Who. Without Cummins at the mic.......Forget about it!!!!

  • excellent veryyyyy gooodddddddd

  • No doormatmike, this is a GOOD bar band,

but what it isn't is the Guess Who, not

    really anyway.

  • Boo! This is a shitty bar band in Vegas - NOT THE GUESS WHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There is nothing left to say...Wait...How about what a bunch of losers...does this moron think he can sing.

  • in 2004, Cummings called this lineup, "Kales Klones" --

  • boy, is THIS sad-- jim kale owns the name? he can have it. without cummings and bachman, it's like going to ur local chinese rest. and watching some boring, lame band doing a guess who cover. ugh! who would pay to see this? a lot of people might think it's the original band when they buy the tix, only to b pissed when they show up and see this. somebody has to put them to sleep. QUICK!

  • these jerks r coming to cali, for them to get to cali they have to go thru tornado ally, hope they run into a tornado they get blown away forever

  • whats the name of the song *0*??

  • you fuckers for posting this bullshit

  • Yeah, The POSTERS are WORSE than THE SONG. It's like hearing MICHAEL BOLTON singing WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN. "crap" ORIGINALITY ORIGINALITY ORIGINALITY "HOW HARD IS THAT TO FIGURE OUT??"

  • No Burton Cummings or Randy Bachman and they call themselves The Guess Who? That's like calling yourself Creedence Clearwater Revival without John Fogerty.

  • like the beatles with-out john and george

  • This is actually not that bad a performance of Undun. It is a respectable

cover, but it does not approach the range

or feeling of the original. As said

before, Carl Dixon is a competent second tier

pro, Cummings in his prime was an elite singer. The shame is in portraying yourselves as the real band.

  • Well, here's the thing...Jim Kale owns the Guess Who name(And that IS him on bass) He could put 5 gold fish up there and call them "the Guess Who" if he wanted to.

  • This really TOUCHES me especially. I trademarked my radio name in 1959. USED IT ALL OVER at nine RADIO STATIONS. I still own the trademark. "BUT" every dipshit and his brother ALL OVER AMERICA tried to use the name ON THE AIR until they got a LEGAL NOTICE from MY LAWYER (who happens to be my brother). This guy JIM KALE doesn't really CARE for THE FANS or HISTORY or ROCK MUSIC. John Kay had same trouble with STEPPENWOLF.

  • No BURTON CUMMINGS....NOT The Guess Who...

An Insult To People Who Show Up To A Show Thinking They Are Going To See The Real Band... BAD KARAOKE at Best...

  • The Guess Who?

    I don't think so....good cover though.

  • What ? He sounds like Frank sinatra.. Total Crap..lol

  • Are these guys trying to pass themselves off as the Guess Who?

  • que buena cancion de the guess who pero este patita si no me equivoco es de April Wyne

  • God this singer is pathetic compared to Burton Cummings (of the 60's and 70's.)

  • no Burton Cummings ...not the Guess Who.

  • Amen and Hallelujah brother!!

  • That is not the guess who, but that when i heard them live---------good stuff!!
