Did u hear those perfectly blended whistle notes? When do the Bells ring for me, Tony nd Mariah... *I love it* at 2:24 - 2:28 ... Listen very hard . She used a very airy tone so the volume would blend and harmonize without over powering her and Tony. That chord is brilliant.

@CoreyLongmire I would too, but I listen to her older music and her voice very healthy and has a nice roundness too it, and I compare it too this voice now and I don't mind, I believe her voice matured alot and are damaged in her lower/chest registers as you can hear the scratchy-ness in her song "Imperfect" on the belt, and I don't blame her for having loss some vocal range as u age you loose a lot of pitch and I like that she isn't going into retirement and hiding because her range is lowered

Most people dont even know, One Sweet Day wasnt going to make the final cut, but it did because they thought it sounded like Anytime You Need a Friend. Im sure she has many great songs in the bag. @CoreyLongmire haha first off its not confirmed that she is going back to sony...she has never said that...second off she has addressed the issue with those songs and she said that she has plans for them but she can't say what they are yet...and she has to record more then a cd requires because the executives decide which songs go in and out and different versions have different songs...like japan always gets like 2 songs extra from everyone else lol

She has many recorded. If I had to make an educated guess on how many songs she recorded for the Music Box, Daydream, and Butterfly albums it would be like... 20-25 songs each. Out of those, only 10-12 make the final cut. This means she has maybe 4o songs from those 3 albums alone that has never been heard..

Which means that those plans have probably been caned already!?. I have a feeling that we will hear them only when she dies (no mimi, I want you to stay alive forever- you will in my heart). But again, I think somehow we need to make it hear to her that we wanna hear them, and make her talk about them again.

I know she recorded a doing with Lauren Hill in 1999 for rainbow called "Crystal Ball", and she has a song for the Daydream album only known as "Crave". And Walter said that many songz they recorded for Music Box didnt make the final cut. Some have been hear like Everything Fades Away and Do You Think of Me. Even there are songz from Charmbracelt like Reach For the Sky and When I Feel (later leaked) has never been released for us.

@999xander999 yeah, mariah recorded a song with Lauren Hill in 1999 called crystal ball for the rainbow album.. But by the time they finished the song, the album was already being mastered, so it went on the shelf. She also recorded two songs with Micheal Jackson in 2002 called, "Wedding Song", and "Satisfy" (well he just did backing vocals)- those two failed to make final cut. She recorded a duet with Justin Timberlake but she ended taking out his vocals and going solo "Yours"...

One sweet day, almost became one of those never b4 heard songs; but they added because it sounded like "Anytime You Need a Friend". So as you can see, she has many songs in the bag that we never hears, Im only interested in hearing unreleased tracks from the all her 90's album and only Charmbracelet from the previous decade.

And there is also an articles on the charmbracelet album where you can find info on the song with MJ. Although wikipedia isn't consider "official", they do site their sources. Besides I knew about those songs from b4 I ever looked at wikipedia from hearing Mariah talk about them and reading about them in magazines.

@SimsLover2011 nope, the songs from the charmbracelet album that are known but but never got released are, "Wedding Song", Reach For the Sky", "Satisfy", "Yours ft JT". I havent heard none of these four songs and they cannot be found because the label haven't released them yet. The public hasn't gotten them, they haven't leaked yet. But I am waiting for them to leak or get released. Honestly I mainly wanna hear tracks from the Music Box, Daydream and Butterfly albums...

um at the point when this was recorded she couldn't hit high notes being that she was 27 weeks pregnant with Roc N Roe. her voice mixes really well with Tony's. oh by the way it was recorded in her home studio for the reason mentioned above and she even said on HSN two days after the session that Tony had quiped that he'd never sung with a trio before a funny way of saying the twins were upstaging the session
