i love these kinda videos, could watch em all day. i love the tweeking you did to make the motor fit. no motor is too big lol, very nice job on the whole project!
@corpito123 -The motor was free but I went through it and installed new gaskets and seals. Most of the parts were from either from u pull it yards or parts we already had. Labor was done inhouse except the flywheel. With the camber plates, rear subframe mounts, gaskets, seals, new starter, wheels, I'd say about 1500 or so. From scratch the bill will prob go up quite a bit, but you don't have to do a 5 lug swap- I dont recomend it...
this is some fucking good guyss !!Hope for you it run greatt. the cars look awesome!!! Which com^puter is driving the m50 and what support mount are you using ?!

You say in this video that the iX booster does not work.
I can assure you it does. I use one in my S52 e30, and have used it in several others. It fits fine, and I didn't even have to grind the fins down on the intake manifold next to it. Its very close but it doesn't touch.
The booster you ended up using is very under assisted IMO.
Thanks for the reply, I have already planned ahead for the loss in power from the booster, and as for the ix booster I can assure you, I got the booster from Courtney from Metric Mechanic. Right out of the shops parts cars, it was actually his old car, and I pulled it myself. When all was said and done the master cylinder was directly in front of the throttle body. Don;t know why yours fit but the one I used was definetly the original from the car...
Ah, yes but the booster/MC fit fine. You just need to fit a remote fluid tank in place of the original. Its no big deal. Many people use the 2002 one, or a E12 one with E34 v8 right angle elbows to attach the lines to the MC.
Sweet, I would have loved to put an s52 in mine but heah I got the motor for free and it had very little wear on the bearings....Thanks for the reply and keep us updated on the project
well done!!!!! I ve got the same engine on my E30 and i know what you 've been through!
