i bought some of these..haven't caught anything on them yet..but i know it is me..not the bait...but DAM why do people feel the need to hold the bass by the mouth and open its mouth so wide with out supporting it from the belly...grrrrrr...it has been shown to harm the fishes mouth..yet so many still do it...im going to dry this bait yet again on march 17th...this time i wont give up...unless i start freezing my ass off again..haha

I watched this video 2 times to try to find help for cold water fishing...nothing. You say your mentality changes in winter, how does that effect how you fish? You briefly mentioned how the tentacles move when the bait lies motionless on the bottom...is that how you fish the bait? Do you throw it out like a live bait? You spent 20% of the time advertising the bait but nothing showing us your retrieve speed, wrist motion, if any. I don't question your fishing skills. You lack instruction skills.

Really big fan of what you are doing I'm from the area and get out there in the extremes of winter I know its tough out there.. Im Really. Really psyched on what your doing though man I'm a huge fan! I have some videos also on winter largemouth. Check them out sometime. Keep up the great work!

I spent two days with Blaine in January a couple years ago. I learned more about fishing for winter smallmouth than I ever thought possible. I still use what I learned to this day. Thanks, and good luck with the show.

You might be surprised! Find a creek, spring or stream confluence where warmer water enters and fish slowly. I've seen smallies landed in 33 degree water, not many mind you! Thanks for watching!
