It's not a race kids! Don't stretch for the wrong reasons. Do it because YOU want to do it. Not because other people are. My ears aren't very big at all compared to most of you and I'm 22! lol. I don't plan on going much bigger than 22mm (which is what I'm at right now).
if you don't do it right, yes, it will hurt. Wait at least 3-5 months before stretching up (depending on the elasticity and heal rate of your lobes). If they seem completely healed from your last stretch (no tears, no bleeding, no rawness, no pain when you slightly pull on the ear) then you are probably ok. Go slow though. I recommend using ptfe tape (I do not recommend tapers) and slowly wrapping your plug once a day for the next couple of weeks.
well, I have just had bad experience with HT plugs. Of course, they are not ALL bad. But many of the sizes are not correct. I understand that different materials can make the sizes a bit off, but morbid metals packaging tends to mis-size many of their plugs and morbid metals is mainly the brand Hot Topic sells. Nevertheless, I prefer to buy Organics now.
ok i totally agree with you, i bought 0 flares like way long ago and i was so excited tio put them on, i had 2's on and i didnt even bother to stretch my lobes when i took out the flares from the packaging they turned out to be 2's...
Ik what you mean I've always had infections on my ears like befor i started streching not bad like OMG MY EARS like just little infectons then i stared streching with the hot topic plugs it was OK at first then my ear like started to smell to now i have to clean my ears every other day so they don't smell like bad cheese -.- it's nastyy
