wow i see you know all the little tricks in paint and you are quit good at iso pixelart but i think you should add more details to this, like flowers, people,etc. etc. (eboy dot com may give you ideas)

@neocrone Hey, thanks for the comment :) I know, I generally rush way too much when recording, and always feel that I shouldn't add more to it afterwards. I haven't really given a look at eboy or pixeljoint, but have heard of them. I might join if I ever get back into pixel art. Thanks :)

@RahChanRawr I tend to just play it by ear for the size of each block. I'd guess 10 blocks by 10 blocks. Whatever really works for the image.

@Neakiaro My selected foreground colour was black, and my selected background colour was white. I used the fill tool and quickly left click and then right click repeatedly to turn any black to white until the fill had reached the red edges.

It's the style applied to the visuals on websites like habbo. If you google image 'pixel art', the results will likely all have that style.

at 0:06 how did you do that? all white?

I had a black grid on a white background, so I just set my foreground colour as black, and background colour as white and used the fill tool alternating between black and white repeatedly until it cleared everything within the red borders. It looks pretty flashy when fast-forwarded, but it's the only quick way of doing it.

Well I've had the idea to do this block of apartments for a while now (It's where i live), once I run out of ideas I plan on going out and taking photos, coming home and using them as resource images. A school sounds fun. Thanks for commenting, it's really appreciated.
