  • 7 years old and playing Doom and Doom II on DOS. Made me the gamer I am today. Doom forever!

  • @TuffCustomerFTW You were lucky. I touched it first when I was 25 :)

  • too many unneccesary harmonics could be better

  • Cool. Epic. Metal. Dark. And sometimes scary. Like Doom.

  • Bad fucking ass

  • Dude The song is FUCKEN hardcore man listen to this song when high man trippy lol

  • My dad told me all the games to day were shit to back in his day he got me doom 1 2 and the TNT and plutonium and my own father got me adicted to some thing so awesome it should be a basis for every other shooter ever

  • Actually, it is the basis for every other shooter ever. In fact, before they were referred to as FPS's they were called "Doom Clones". There were FPS's before Doom, even other id titles, but none of them had multiplayer or the modular file resources that made an industry out of these games.

  • I think people dislike vids so they know that vid won't have a perfect rating

  • It's cool, really nice instrumental actually, but I think it takes too many liberties and doesn't really remind me much of the original except at the beginning.

  • I need to port this to JDoom

  • creepy song, from a creepy game.... this stage gave me nightmares when i was a kid

  • sounds kinda like the riff from King Diamond's Family ghost solo

  • Still play this, fuck yeah! Nuke that Cyberdemon!

  • fuck... tabs anyone??

  • man i remember as a kid on the SNES and n64 and xbox Doom Doom2 and Doom 3 when Doom3 came out i bought it then replayed all of um stayed up 2 nights and scared myself shitless,im grown now and its just funny the stuff used to scare me...ah good time..good times...Doom 4 anyone? anyone?

  • Anyone know where i can get tabs for this?

  • Love it. Especially like the "Doom theme" (E1M1) reprise at 2:59.

  • Duke, the world awaits your return!

  • i know this is off topic but in the picture u can see the middle spike of the brick getting shoved into the doomguys Ass lol :)

  • I miss the fucking feeling of this game back in the day, Can't tell If I were scared or enraged

  • This reminds me of the Culombine high school massacre :|

    Still a good cover though

  • well songs were metal in the first place but this is basiclly an acoustic cover. :D it's awsome ofcourse

  • In comes the Demon

  • Brutal

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • @MarioSnail007 And PSDoom.

  • doom theme music would sound pretty good as a black doom metal track i think....its a shame i cant play instrument for crap or id probably try it

    this is still cool though

  • Perfection

  • Wait, no Delta-Q-Delta remix of MAP31 D: WHY??? >:(

  • COOOOLLLL!!!

  • this is just awesome... i know that this doom track was a potential for metal song :P

    memories 1994 xD

  • @VendPrekmurec

It was actually inspired by a Black Sabbath tune.

    THE MORE YOU KNOW ~*

  • @VendPrekmurec It was a metal song! Look up "After All" by Black Sabbath

  • 0:00 to 0:50 is the best part

  • holy shit, my version doesn't even hold water against yours! XD

aaah oh well, maybe once I'm even able to play halfway decent as that I can redo another *care to check it out anyways? on my channel if you're interested :P just uploaded an updated one today

  • DOOM II is great ♥ and this song kiks ass when i play

  • wooooow this is great!

    :D

  • Comment removed

  • This is too fast D:

    Pretty cool otherwise

  • @kailemagnus mines a bit slower if ya care to check it out :P although not as creative as this one as far as the guitars >_>

  • I like how you gave it a nice, meaty '80s production instead of that cardboard noise blaster sound modern bands like. The guitar tone is total '80s and I love it.

  • DANG!

  • Epic on so many different levels. Makes me wanna go play Doom II again.

  • @Biocidal I wish ID software rebuilds it with modern 3D graphics, but the same look and feel.

  • BRUTAL

  • holy crap I love this fucking song!

  • OMG THAT IS AMAZING

  • INCREDIBLE!!!

  • spine tingling.

  • amazing. I saw an interview from the guy who did the music to doom. nice reading. just google it or something, I lost the link.

  • its soooo fucking nice!!!!!!

  • Great! \m/

  • Now this is different from most of these remakes you see around here because this one is actually good, and not just sampled bullshit converted straight from the MIDIs.

  • Great remix!

    Doom forever!

  • I fucking love this

  • no, its called refuling my hate.

the damn icon of sin certainly did that.

mother fucking baron of hell spamer!

  • no.

  • Yeah I own the Doom trilogy for the PC,

    Best shit I own.

  • @777LECHUZA777

Best shit i own too ^^

  • @777LECHUZA777 The same here. Bought Doom pack on Steam recently. Rocks as hell.

  • @777LECHUZA777 Amen

  • @777LECHUZA777 trilogy? u know there's only 2 as a series right?If ur including the others there are 7.

  • YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Goooood song!!!!!\m/

  • i know who has beaten doom2 on nightmare my brother has dont know how he did it but he did i watched him beat it man was it insane and awesome music

  • idk i found Domm 64 a pretty good game to idk witch one would be the best(out of 1, 2 or 64)

  • man, doom 64 IS AWESOME.

I have a Doom 64 version for PC, using keyboard+mouse, with doomsday engine too... simple awesome. best than n64 version for sure !!!!

  • where can u get it from? for pc using doomsday engine

  • Type DooM 64 :Absolution in google...It's really amazing imo!

  • no words , just perfect.

Doom 1, 2 and ultimate are the best fps ever, use doomsday engine , playu on nightmare withtout respawns and u guys will know what im talking about.

  • trust me u couldn't beat me at it. plus i have them both in the extras memnu on my doom3 limted collector's edition i'v beat all dooms created. such as ultimate doom,doom2 hell on earth, final doom, final doom plutonia experiment,doom64, doom3 classic, doom3, doom3 resurrection of evil and about to get doom4 when it comes out. plus they were all on the hardest difficulty. and i'm only 12

  • lol, you beated doom 2 on nightmare ? its impossible man. cause nightmare is the worst dificult...

i only finished doom, doom2, doom ultimate, doom 64, final doom, doom 3 and RoE.

i played doom 2 on the release :-)

  • i had my fair share of deaths. but i did but i had a hell of a time beating "gotcha!". i beat it by getting behind the cyberdemon and letting the mastermind try to shoot me but it kept hitting the cyberdemon which caused them to fight then the mastermind was killed with 1 shot from bfg. the rest of the level was kinda easy.

  • Well, that's how ur supposed to beat this level...

it's realy a fun level, in most cases when i played it the cyberdemon won.

  • Awesome song!

  • the suburbs

  • WOW AWSOME! I was just looking for the music for this level that me and my buddy remember, Awsome job!!

    \m/

  • Lol, so someone made a metal cover of songs that were metal in the first place? Interesting...

  • I think most people tend to assign video game music to its own genre. The titles are there to let people know these are performances using real instruments, rather than just the original music.

  • I think what he means is, that the song in Doom is a cover of Black Sabbath - After all (the death).

So apart from being used in a videogame, the song (like all of Black Sabbath's music) is metal in the first place.

So they basically covered Black Sabbath, by covering a cover of Black Sabbath :)

  • Not really.. the music from doom is based on Black Sabbath's song After All (the dead), but it's definatly not a cover (maybe instrumental, because of lack of vocals)

if you listen to the original you would notice the taken part is only the beginning of the song actually..

and I personally haven't seen any credit to any band

the maker of the music from ID is a lawyer, I assume he took some parts, modified them so the bands wouldn't claim rights (or ID could have just paid them, I don't know)

  • @urizen123 Then fuck the other people. Game music from the 80's and 90's are metal:)

  • Doom 4 Material..... I hope they use this track whilst retaining the original's Kick ass gameplay.

  • @urizen123 But the original music was instrumental. ;)

The midi in Doom is Black Sabbath After All (The Dead) atter some cutoffs/remixing.

  • @Outmind01 well thats nothing new..remixes usually are of the genre of the original track...only sdounding different

  • @Outmind01 yeah what that guy said, but I get your point lol

  • this music is wicked!

  • All old games sounds awesome when you turn them into metal ^^

  • fuck yeah!

  • damn straight, DooMed from birth!!

  • Damn That Is The Fuc*ing Truth

  • @PENR that's cause it was all knew and none of the good stuff had been used yet. it was all just coming out!

  • @PENR indeed

  • @PENR That's because the developers had metal in mind.

  • fase das aranhas \,,/_ lol

  • fase das aranhas \,,/_

  • Great music.

  • this would be a great DOOM WAD is all the level music was metal

  • At least if you go to hell, great music will be playing.

That would be one thing they might have there good (or accepted).

    YAY! WOOT! WOOT!

  • yeah, kinda suck to go to hell but the music is awesome

  • love a da shit

  • sounds like crazy train at the begining just slower and deeper

  • thats because its a rewrite of a sabboth song , its a rewrite of after all (the dead) - black sabboth. still pwns

  • but crazy train is not a black sabbath's song, it's ozzy osbourne's. As a soloist

  • I think I just pissed myself.

  • This is awesome!

Is there any more remixes by this guy ?
