  • Not very many smart people. Maybe I shouldn't have got the patent. I would be very happy to work with someone to get this to market. It really is better by a long shot. Just not as easy to install. However, there is no need to put a big hole in the roof either.

  • Good job on this but have you tried this same set up but with the smoke on the attic side to see how much, if any, hot air could potentially migrate to the living area?

  • @eduarterr Actually, yes. The negative pressure method draws air from any and all space. The positive pressure method forces air out by least resistance. Assuming adequate passive venting, preferably at the ridge the positive pressure method blows the other out of the water. In the EFI industry it is well known that traditional attic fans suck AC and heating into the attic space. This is the answer to that problem. Harder to install but less potential damage to the building.
