Use to watch this with my dad years ago when it was on TV...shame they only did 2 seasons for the UK version...still I can watch the US version so it's not all bad news.

No, only in the country's where they speak english. In the Netherlands and in Belgium (where the mole was created) they never had this challenge. And we just started with the 9th season (NL)

They had a similar one though in the 3rd season finale, where the three finalist tandem-jumped out of an aircraft. The mole was supposed to land on a mark with 'The mole' on it, the winner on green and the loser on red.. The pilot messed up though and they landed miles away.. lol. nonetheless it was quite a spectacular finale. :-) Best series I ever saw I think from all the series (Belgian, Dutch, Uk, US and Aus.Unfortunately never got to see the Spanish, Italian and German though.

Well Made Up to Find this! Remember getting into it towards the end of the series after loads of my college classmates always debated who "the mole" was! A few were so sure it was Zi! But none of us got it right! It's goo watching it back and trying to spot all the stuff the mole did to try and mess it up! Great Show No Wonder the Yanks Nicked it!

Actually, the Belgians were the ones who started the Mole! The US and the UK bought the rights from them simultaneously.

No, it was the Belgians, in 1999. It was created by a Flemish broadcasting company called Woestijnvis and won the Golden Rose of Montreux in 2000, the same year that the rights to make versions of the show were purchased by Australia, Poland, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

The Aussies were only the first *English-speakers* to air a version of the Mole. They did not create it.

I loved this show!!!. I had a friend at work who liked it as well, and our private catchphrase throughout the run was regarding anything our co-workers did wrong was "Was that genuine error or was it AN ACT OF SABOTAGE!!"

Awesome! Have never seen the UK Mole.

I followed the 5 Aussie versions from 1999. Grew up with this show, it's awesome.

Grant Bowler was the best host ever, though, have to say.

I like the American mole better, but the UK one is good too. Anderson Cooper's a better host, but the people on here have cool English accents. I mean coming from where I live, I don't hear it as much. I want that accent!!
