  • I appreciate why so many prefer this, but to me, Angela's interpretation is too derivative of others. It's very old-school. Which is fine, just not my taste. I find Renee Fleming's interpretation fresher and "younger." Violetta here seems far too "mature" a woman, and there's an old-school affectation.

I do recognize her skill, though, and know others may not agree.

  • Vargas es estupendo, pero debería vigilar su peso, ya llega a estar demasiado gordo!

  • ¡ Guau !

    Vargas y Gheorghiu: Grandísmos artistas!!!

  • Vargas, wow, excelent singer, beautiful voice, so expressive. And Angela, the finest Violetta now at days! Bravi!

  • Angela beats everyone she is perfection in Violleta`s role!!!

  • Wonderful pairing of very compatible, expressive voices. It's very satisfying to see a new TRAVIATA performed by musical artists in idiomatic Italian style without annoying vocal mannerisms. Thanks for posting.
