  • That shit was OWT.. BE OWT SNOW BUNNYS...LOL QUECENTRIC... 7 DAWG TE 08

  • Does it really bother u guys that much about them being white? Stfu! It's not about color. Some black people step better than others and some white people step better than others. It's about skill, not racial appearance, dumbasses! Im on a step team and we are all a different race, yet we kill it at our performances.

  • the fact that these RIGHTEOUS bitches blew this out of the water is NOT an insult to beautiful black women or the black race. give props where they're due.

  • Ok ppl need to chill with the fact that they're "all white" WHO CARES.... are we not an integrated country.... if anything we should be happy that they love an african tradition and wanna be apart of it... Yes it was originated through african americans but its a free country and they can do whatever they want!! Yes it has a meanining to it but what theyve done is simply take something and put their own meaning to it!

  • DAMN! We can't have NOTHING! lol

  • ok so what if white poeple won this? saying things like "black people cant have anything!" is really stupid because peole can do what they want. they went up there, and they stepped the best. no matter what race. i loved all these competitors! you all did awesome and the judges just thought they were the best so people do what they want, and quit making immature and untrue comments people!

  • respect first to black girls from whence it started & our history. these girls did put forth a good effort, not great but few of us are. black girls r beautiful.

  • Can't we all just get along. These young women *stepped there hearts out and *I enjoyed them.God gave "gifts" [talents] to all of us. [Romans 12:6} Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,/// * So find yours and use them. Amen

  • My question is......do they seriously understand the culture and origination of "stepping". It's not just "dancing". there's a whole history behind it and you have to understand that before u go imitating or trying to learn something.....that's just my perspective.

  • Omg my friend Kayla does step dancing from Flint Michigan and i am wanting to join a sorority Like this in Detroit will someone help meh?

  • @squassss The first assumption I would have to make here is that these girls are embracing African culture, and not just dancing to some choreography for the sake of a competition. We dont know that for sure. Just stepping is not an embrace of a culture if you don't know why you're doing it. I didn't think that needed to be discussed because as I said the girls did a great job. However, to address people's questions of why some disliked it, I lent a hand.

  • At the end of the day, I don't have a problem with anyone truly embracing a culture. I, myself, have embraced the Latin-American culture, and have taken the time to learn more about the vast civilizations it makes up. And for it I have been embraced by them. I have learned a lot from it; and I hope that I have shared some of my culture with them. But I don't expect a medal just because I know how to salsa now; it should come from the fact that I understand the roots of salsa music.

  • So long ramble short ... I appreciate the comment and opening up a dialogue for people to think about as they watch the video and read what kind of conversations it prompted. The bottom line is the girls did a good job, and they should be recognized for it. The race aspects of this is something that while valid, don't help us progress to a place where this video won't be shocking because it's White girls.

  • Im On My Step Team In Jr High Sometimes The Steps Are Hard I Dont Know How Im Goinq To Survive In High School & Coleqe.

  • This is a ROO

  • omg... going hard is still understating... great showmanship of sisterhood and step

  • They really killed it.

  • They Destroyed it! This SIgma gives'em two thumbs up!!

  • hahahah thats like being good at lacrosse- WHO GIVES A FUCK?!!?!? plus their whit. their just clapping in unison hahaha

  • @75oaktree if you would try it u would realize it not as easy it looks. it takes a lot of practice and time. to get that precise those girls would have to had practiced for at least 3-5 months. its very rigorous.

  • Holy shit. They're WHITE! White girls can dance XD

  • @lilbigwill8 Are you that ignorant. EVERYONE arguing over race are ignorant. I dont care. No one said stomping was for blacks -.- I hate america.

  • Wow, they're good. (see how I didn't mention race or skin color? It's real easy.)

  • Wow I didn't know white girls could step!!! Can't dance BUT you can step.

  • damn !!!!! i wanna step like dhat ! love yu girls!!!

  • Damn can we have ANYTHING???? sheesh now they swear they can step. Proly haven't stepped a day in their lives until this competition. S M D H!!!!!!

  • @ashee1818 What is there to have? What does race have to do with it? To say that they shouldn't step because they're white is like saying I shouldn't be a Yale student because I'm black. Yu should be happy that they are embracing black heritage (outside of Black History Month no less) than trying to segregate yourself. That's not what Martin Luther King, Jr. would have wanted at all.

  • i swear some people are ignorant

their color has nothing to do with what they just did! I AM A STEPPER & i seen MANY STEP TEAMS!! & these girls are very very good! i know a few "black" girls who cant step AT ALL! color doesn't have anything to do with if you can or can not do something!! they only thing that does is your ability of can you do something or not so please stop hatin on these girls for steppin.. so what they white its not like they green&purple get over it &im black saying ths

  • so synchronized so precise so matrix. tht was tuff!

  • Why does race matter. they brought it that day.

  • They worked hard, coping, but it was missing something heartfelt and spirit filled. I usually get goose bumps when I watch a good step show. Landed Flat. But they did stump in unison.

  • you can teach a person how to step but the rhythm has to come natural and thats how they won not buy rhythm but by good steping. but until they do more then just stomp they feet i ain't seen nothing new

  • Comment removed

  • I have been stepping for over 15 years and I will say this these girls did a Excellent Job!! but they did not deserve the win. I think it was shocking to see white females step this great because this is usually not the case so I think this really gave them a boost with the judges and the crowd. Typical judging criteria include Introduction, crowd participation, difficulty level, creativity, theme, Outro. Thats a few of the major ones and I think the AKAs excelled on a higher level then them...

  • I wish some white guys would step too! That would be something to watch :D

  • Blimey o'riley!!!

  • wow, just came across this video...you ladies rock and my sister is a Delta but damn you did the damn thang right here!!!!

  • I feel as a performance routine the Zetas were def better, but when you look at the technicality of the routine and the precision of the hand movements the AKA's slayed.

  • wow! those girls really did deserve to win! way to go!

  • These girls KILLED IT!!!! What pissed me off was the fact that the black greeks cheered for them when they did their performance and then booed them when they won the whole thing...So what if they did better than the other greeks?? That means that the rest of them needs to step it up some!!!

  • The deeper reason this is a racial issue is because stepping is a part of the Black culture, period. It is our connection to Africa. It's part of our heritage and a celebration of where WE came from. That's the idea behind stepping originally. SO to have a group of White girls do this well is something to talk about because it's not something that typically happens. Don't knock someone for pointing it out; it's just the facts. That being said, the fact is THOSE GIRLS KILLED THAT STEP! GET IT ;-)

  • @Bbabcock8 There is a difference between pointing out facts and being racist.

  • @kforkarson That is definitely true, and both are relevant to the conversation don't you think? Knocking someone's words is the quickest way to get them on the offensive rather than hearing what you have to say. My point is we can never make progress if we continue censoring people's opinions because we don't like them. Being politically correct is slowly erroding the freedom we once had to speak our minds right or wrong. I don't think that's progress.

  • @Bbabcock8 My only point is, there is no problem with pointing out facts as to why people were shocked to see white girls win this, but saying something along the lines of "OMG WHITE GIRLS WON!?!?! US BLACK PEOPLE CAN'T HAVE NOTHIN!" is unnecessary. It's racist and it isn't even considered an opinion to me, just ignorant people saying ignorant things.

  • @Bbabcock8 COMPLETELY disagree!....and its not just about the culture but they steal moves and techniques from black influential fraternities .... create your own

  • Im not black, but im not white.... but i do have to say it kinda of does still matter. The truth is we live in a white man's world and if your too ignorant to admit that then God help you. Look up the history of stepping. It is culturally owned by Blacks. They are always getting robbed of something. I think these girls did great in a colorless light. However they were NOT the best and I believe they were given more praise because they were white.

  • @GemDancing07 lol we don't live in the white man's world anymore. we live in the chinese man's world

  • @GemDancing07 {It is culturally owned by Blacks. They are always getting robbed of something}

I'm just wondering about the expression "culturally owned" -- what kinds of things need be present for that to happen? Are non-Italians allowed to make Italian food? Basketball was invented by a white canadian and is very simular to a Mesoamerican ball game.

  • Fuck it you definitely deserved to win: super moves, precise and good energy!!!All good, keep stepping ladies ;-)

  • who are the idiots that taught them this?

  • SOOOOOOO CLEEEAN AND PRECISEEEE. daaaaamn. nice work ladies i have NOTHING negative to say and neither should any of you b/c respect should be given where respect is due and who better to give respect to than these girls. once again well done

  • who could POSSIBLY dislike this????

  • DAMMMMMMNNNNNN!!!!!!

  • Awesome routine guys! Your dance moves really remind me of the new movie coming out called JIG. Have you heard of it?

  • Zeta Tau Alpha did give credit to the AKAs who hold an annual step competition every year in Arkansas teaching traditional white sororities and fraternities the history of stepping. This organization were able to gain skills by competing in competitions held by African American fraternities and sororites. Great job ladies! Very impressive!!

  • Awesome Awesome I luved it, those girls were more than on point!!!! Good job Ladies 100K well earned

  • Man, I didn't even know ZTA of the U of A won this!(Considering I didn't attend my first year till Fall of 2010) Imma about to go congratulate every member I know!

  • They Murderded Give Props were it's due!!!!

  • unique and creative very precise performance LOVED IT.........woot

  • I seen this on the news and people were complaining jst because they're white, when will the racism ever stop

  • Nice job ladies, It takes alot of hard work and dedication to learn steps like that...Two thumbs up from an AKA

  • Haha deez girls kick some nigga azz!!!!!

  • Ha ha funny I did not think Whites did the whole stepping thing. Those costumes must have cost a pretty penny, well for a $100,000 it was well worth the investment!

  • I can c both sides of da argument bt here is my take(s)

    1. Stepping was started b/c blacks had nating else 2 do when working n da mines n when ppl weren't looking, that is how they kept fun. It originaly started off as moves from African dances, and used African beats. many are still used today.

    2. Just because it's cultrual, doesn't meant that others can fully imerge themselves in it, even if they don't have the "right" skin tone.

    3. da gurlz did nating wrong or offending.

  • @fobluv4lyfe That's a perfect summary of the issues here. Thanks.

  • I dont care what anyone says they killed this great job Zetas!

  • This shit don't even look right! ....Makes me want to throw-up!

  • there hands must have hurt after all the clapping and stepping.. amazing

  • They stepped their asses off. Their race is irrelevate because they were precise, organized, clearly disciplined and they did everything that stepping is about. Those girls showed OUT. Congrats to them.

  • Nice work ladies... shit was hot.

Yall need to give props where it's due, this shit aint easy.

  • These girls killed it!! They deserved to win 1st place and them alone! THey should not have to share what rightfully belongs to them bc (like always) we as females can NEVER give props where props r due..if u ask me the AKA did more dancing than stepping. Indiscrepencies my ass!! Good job chicas. This should not be about color dammit..FAIR IS FAIR! They put in 20+hrs wkly since Dec getting this down. 4 those who had a "problem" w/ them winning, go play in traffic

  • DIS WAS BORING.... UHH

  • Are there video tutorials on how to step? I can't find any on YouTube surprisingly...

  • Damn.. I see why they won!!!!!

  • I dont care what color they are.....they rocked it!

  • SMH to all GDI commenting

  • They put on a nice show but not first place material. Zeta did come to compete, and hats off to them for that. Its all about GO HARD OR GO HOME.

  • yeah right, who taught them that?

  • i think the shock factor of "these white girls can step" had alot to do with them winning. were they the best though?

  • i've seen way better

  • I've seen groups ten times better. I honestly don't see what the hype is. I guess the people here really haven't been to a lot of step shows.

  • If you had/have a negative comment about them just b/c they're white then you ain't shit but a HATER!!! GET IT GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i have one word B.A.D

  • @samtheawesomeful You sound really racist yourself. It doesn't matter what color Jesus was, or who originated the form of stepping. If you think about it all humans supposedly came from Africa, therefore ALL of our ancestors originated stepping. Black folks are the first to claim racism when they aren't included in white culture but when white folks try to integrate into black culture all of a sudden they're 'stripping away' at black culture. You can't have double standards.

  • @babydaddy60613 I'm not even sure what color you claiming me to be, but I'm white, and NO I'm not racist, I'm sitting with 2 of my best friends that happen to be biracial. DONT GET ME TWISTED HEFFA!!!!

  • @samtheawesomeful no for real I'm just kidding, that makes me sound soo ghetto!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You did it to our tennis and golf, now we're coming for your step off!

  • Honestly all race and whatnot aside these girls did do their thing. now IN MY OPINION the AKAs were more creative, i dont know about more precise but i believe these things are judged on more than one facet. It was a really good performance but also missing something. it was an extra clean and extra precise basic performance. just my opinion.

  • Damn i want them on my birthday xd :P

  • they aight

  • who would have thought in white arkansas hills girls winning big in atl!! already lol

  • They ATE that shit!

Murder... I loved it... represent white girls...

They really deserved to win... Alot of times black ppl get extra hype for a very mediocre job of a non black person or group doing something thats traditionally black like I white person who sings with soul or who dances... even it theyre a lil off but this group right here was right on point and I loved every second of it...

  • @tyty123479 Actually, a lot of times, black people have to do ten times better to get the same recognition as whites. When a white person does something "black" they automatically get props for trying.

  • they look like moms

  • YALL ROCKED IT!!!!!

  • Um... they look like the cheerleaders from Bring it on doing the Clover's cheers. Not hater here. I mean, they got the steps down really well, but they're missing that authentic, "we go hard" stepping attitude...But it was cool.

  • That's od

  • This was a good show. But ya'll must have had some wack steppers at the show cause the crowd was cheering for at best decent stuff. Sorry but I don't see this as a first place national step show. I've recently seen a better middle school show. Sorry but I think they won because they are white and able to step. The judges and the crowd was so shocked that white people can step that they gave them the win.

  • there's always next year and after that and.....

  • Their show good, but I don't think it deserved first place. But congratulations though.

  • sorry buddy but ms.180 step team is better than that but they were ok

  • There is a reason some people never get anywhere further in the world. They are always finding someone else to live up to. Does it really matter if the group is black, white, indian, asian, middle easter or whatever or doe sit matter more that they have precision and moved as a group. I doubt during their practices they were thinking, hey, see this particular group, we have to practice just to be better than them. No, they put in the time, did their thing and hard work paid off. Well Done.

  • @JAStunna people jus love to hate... they see white and automatically deduct points from their performance (ironic as that may be) They did an amazing job

  • @JAStunna yeh it does WHITE people all the way. and thats the truth

  • This was the coldest white sorority step show I've ever seen!!!!! YES I'M BLACK!! They were awesome!!!! HATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMakeupMistress THANK YOU!!!!

  • it wasn't bad, it just didn't really Excite me. I was looking for some shit to make me just get stuck on Stupid. It was straight tho

  • Dammmmn, must give you ladies props! I'm a black gal and it is about time my other sisters stepped up their game! You ladies were awesome! I am gettin an group of low income lil' sisters off the ground and Stepping will be the primary spotlight because it is something they can have for their own immediately, without funds. I have lil black girls, lil white girls, lil brown girls and lil yellow girls, you ladies have inspired. Thank you.

  • u girls did a damn good jod im still shocked..and i have just seen this for the first time in 2011 feb lol

  • I just don't think they were that good. Their moves were average. Maybe that's because I've been around steppers forever.

  • they arent very precise//// im just sayin

  • AKAs be mad at your sorors, should have never shared the tradition of stepping with ZTA

  • Ight nevermind this competition was judged by monica and chilli, what the fuck do they know about stepping. MAN listen step competitions can only be judged by people who step, have stepped, or have been around stepping long enough where they can teach someone else how to step. The problem isnt ZTA its sprite and its dumb ass selection of judges

  • they did a good job but do not get me wrong they WON ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE WHITE AND STEPPING. that is something new to the black greek scene, so everyone in the crowd, mostly black were clapping and going wild because they were so impress to see them stepping and doing their thing. ...

  • @toptop22top Hate on what exactly? Their costumes? Bitch. Boo. Bye.

  • Are they The Matrix rejects or something...?

  • @MrTidleyWinks Don't hate.

  • anyway...what was so creative about this routine? and I also wonder why don't they have at least one damn person of color....shit was good, but not as good as the AKA's

  • @PreppieBoy It was good. They deserved to win. And we all love white women.

  • Comment removed

  • Not at all this team deserved it The AKA's got the back end of the stick lol who's name did thay call first I believe it was ZTA lol so glad they won it

  • I'm actually flattered that whites and others are taking part in our culture. I think they were good because they went back to basics with stepping with no music. That's why they won. I mean they weren't the best but it was good.

  • @Sw88tie I agree wiht the flattery portion its just I feel like I want to keep some of our culture a secret. Its like everything we do gets embraced by other cultures then once they embrace it they steal it and create a water down offspring of the pure substance that was once ours. Glad to see others embracing us but upset also because i know its a slippery slope and not long before others follow ZTAs "following lead"

  • @JtheMighty That is true. I was upset when I saw it too but you can't deny it they were good. This is just a wake up call that the AKA''s or whoever need to step it up a bit. I'm not trying to bash black sororities, trust me I know what they can do. Sororities like ZTA's are learning and catching up. And if we wanted to keep it a secret, who the hell taught them because they didn't teach themselves.

  • @Sw88tie You both have a sense of history but not the complete truth. Europeans have been stealing from our culture and our homeland. Now they justify it under "diversity." Part of racism is thinking you can have anything and everything while ignoring the consequences to others. We saw is in apartheid. We see it in Iraq. It's the same pathology. Just like the pathology of those who sell out. Being good is not the point. This is an African form of art - period.

  • @BPrideful, you are part of the problem that stops global peace.

  • @gsabra2 Until there is justice, there will be no peace. The truth is Europeans continue to provoke violence all over the world. That's why there is no peace in Africa right now. Read some truthful history.

  • @BPrideful What exactly do you mean by "consequences of others"? I'm sure their intentions weren't to "take stepping away from Africans" They were just admiring what they do, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! And your right, I'm sure stepping probably become POPULAR in Africa, but who's to say Jesus didn't do it? Do you know? . . . NO!!! I HATE RACISM!!!

  • @samtheawesomeful First Jesus was not white/Euorpean. He was probably African. Looking at the history of Europeans Americans many of them don't care about stealing from others and exploiting it like Elvis Pressley and the Beatles or oil, diamonds, etc.. Racism is thinking you are superior to others or using your power to oppress others. The fact is stepping is an African form. Blacks do not need another part of our history stripped like it has been in the past.

  • Comment removed

  • @BPrideful First off, Jesus was born in Bethlehem which is just north of Jerusalem on the continent of ASIA.He was also a Jew, so one might assume that he would have the same generalized Physical characteristics of Jewish men from that area. Secondly, you have a good point about history being stripped away from people. Just because whites have had a history of being the dominant race in America, It would be a shame for people to be equal, and have the history of superiority stripped from them

  • @pugpate Jesus' parents were from Nazareth. The first Jews were Africans.

  • @BPrideful First off, Jesus was born in Bethlehem which is just north of Jerusalem on the continent of ASIA.He was also a Jew, so one might assume that he would have the same generalized Physical characteristics of Jewish men from that area. Just because whites have had a history of being the dominant race in America, It would be a shame for people to be equal, and have the history of superiority stripped from them

  • @BPrideful What does that even have to do with Jesus' color? But just saying, he was most likely Arabic, considering he is from Israel. DUH!!!

  • @samtheawesomeful The first Jews were Africans. His parents were not from Israel. You need to look at a map in that time period. Do some research before you comment. Point is-he is definitely not white, so he should not be depicted as white. It is a distortion of history, which is the MO of racists.

  • @BPrideful {This is an African form of art - period. }

Look around you.. see all that? That is European science, technology and civilization. So if you don't like to share, I suggest you step off.

  • @mindprism WOW are you off base. We are discussing culture. Not things that help all mankind. You really need to research. African people have been scientists and inventors for thousands of years. However, you don't know that because Europeans rewrote history and excluded other cultures and races and women. That's the problem.

  • @BPrideful Really? Did Europeans use that flashy thing to erase all your memory and knowledge of what you invented also? Why are Asian and Arab inventions recognized but not Blacks? Why are there no archeologists digging up shit and going "OMG, look what Blacks invented!". I am sure the media would fawn over such discoveries. Where are your chariots, paved roads, aqueducts, agriculture, and cargo ships? You had thousands of years head start on other races -- name me these African inventions.

  • @mindprism leave this video........... these girls winning the contest does not give you the right to belittle other human beings based on their skin color. Especially with lies, twisted facts, and arrogance. leave......

  • @anonymous10001000 First off, I am talking about RACE, not skin color. Secondly, how is it belittling -- when you lose, you lost -- just like some of the teams in this video. Their shit was not up to snuff, just like African "civilization" is not up to snuff. Too bad.

And finally, I will leave my comments where and when I please. This is not a schoolhouse, this is the adult world, so your matronly indignation holds no water here. Suck on that.

  • @mindprism If this is an adult world the BEHAVE LIKE AN ADULT. Not a sick discriminatory, egotistic, silly excuse for a child. And it is belittling..... think about it, this video had NOTHING to do with "African Civilization" but when a group of white girls win you just HAD to say it was because of their race, and you just HAD to say something about african civilization "failing" or some shit like that.

  • @anonymous10001000 {this video had NOTHING to do with "African Civilization" but when a group of white girls win you just HAD to say it was because of their race}

Sir/Madam, that is the whole controversy over this video - that a bunch of white girls beat out several black teams at something "black".

Maybe you are just watching it casually, but there is a huge discussion behind this going on.

PS, adults don't whine and cry when they don't measure up

  • @mindprism first of all, i havent whined and/or cried, and second of all, WHO DONT I MEASURE UP TO? U? HA! THATS A JOKE ur a silly excuse for a human being. Since when has winning a step competition have anything to do with "African Civilization"? HUSH!

and this whole thing needs to be put to rest, me as a black man is sick and tired of black people screaming RACIST every time things dont go their way. These girls abilities have NOTHING to do with their skin color, its the determination.........

  • @anonymous10001000 Forget it, you simply do not comprehend that there are such things as associated topics and that this video is also embedded in pages other than youtube.

  • @mindprism ok so every time a black person loses to a white person you have to talk about the failure of the black race?? why cant PEOPLE just simply win because their hard work and dedication, and NOT because of their race. If a black step team put the same amount of dedication these girls did, IM SURE they could beat this group. And what topics do i dont understand?? it is u that have ignorant and biased opinion. The word "ignorant" means simple "to not know", in which case u are very ignorant

  • @anonymous10001000 The other topics involve things like the idea that whites are "stealing" black culture with this. and how a bunch of newb white girls could swoop in and take the championship. And the idea of putting the lie to how blacks are better dancers than everyone.

Face it, we live in a giant tarbaby of racial issues and strife. Do you really think by keepin your head down and your mouth shut that any of this will go away? Its only gotten worse.

  • @mindprism but to imply that they won BECAUSE of their race is just wrong. It doesnt make them superior to anyone besides superior stepping skills. And lets face it, im not saying ALL, but certain types of dancing black people are generally better at. But think of this scenario, would a Mexican who grew up with salsa all his life be better at salsa, or the white american that took it up in their late 20's?? its a cultural difference. And i have not put my head down to anything.

  • @anonymous10001000 {imply that they won BECAUSE of their race is just wrong}

Wrong how -- wrong in thinking certain races might be better at certain things or wrong in this instance?

    {but certain types of dancing black people are generally better at.}

Why? Because they do it more? Is that the general consensus? I think not, it is ascribed to them for simply being black.

  • @mindprism yes blacks generally do better at stepping then whites. But only because stepping is such a strong part of black culture and not white culture. Do you think africans are generally better at river dancing then irish? NO! but only because its in the irish culture to river dance. And it is wrong to imply that they won because of their race. It doesnt matter our backround, if you have the strength and determination and the discipline you can rise above all, these girls are a prime example

  • @anonymous10001000 Why do you avoid what I said completely and go to the cultural aspect? No one denies culture is influential. So let me REPEAT:

When people say blacks are better than whites at dancing, do they not mean inherently? Outside of culture? As part of their makeup?

Yes or no. (You know the answer is yes)

    So, why isn't that racist?

  • @mindprism when did i ever say that?? its ignorant for you to assume that i think that. I think that certain types of dances are part of a cultural aspect in black culture. i believe in cultural influences, and individual talent, and nothing but.

  • @anonymous10001000 This debate is not about you, or what you said. If you can point out where I said you said that I would be very surprised.

I am talking about what people think when they say blacks are better at dancing. And they think it is inherent talent (not cultural).

So my question to you is, why is this not racist - or as racist as saying "whites are better at math and logic"?

When people say blacks are better at dancing, the world doesn't end, but with the other, it does.

  • @mindprism You just made my point. Ignorance about Afrikan history is a problem. Fire, counting, glass tools, water pipes and more were all founded in Afrika. Agriculture? Are you kidding. How do you think people ate. Please read, google or something. You are really behind on your history.

  • @BPrideful So nothing in the last 10,000 years in other words. BTW agriculture developed in several places independently.

  • @mindprism WHAT!!!! I guess you don't stop at traffic light or use a refrigerator. Google Black inventions so you can get the correct information. You brought up agriculture. Of course, everybody had agriculture; it's all relative. Get some more information before you comment.

  • @BPrideful Jacob Perkins was white. And you might want to Google "Inventing history:

Garrett Morgan and the traffic signal" as well as "Black Invention Myths"

    Thanks for playing.

  • @mindprism Thomas Elkins, an African American is responsible for cycling a coolant liquid through a large container as a "new and useful improvement" in the field of refrigeration. Those myth claims are devised by white supremacist who "CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH." By the way there would be no blood transfusion without Charles Drew

  • @mindprism actually most of it is Asian technology so you have no claim on that ^.^

  • @JtheMighty think for a second just in the last 20 years what black people have done in "white" sports, in "white" music, in "white" fashion:

    1. basketball, tennis, golf

    2. b-more, electro

    3. tommy hillfiger, dressing like a prep

No culture is safe from exposure and evolution. Sprinkle your own flavor in that shit and call it yours.

  • @JtheMighty I agree with the slippery slope. There are postings about stepping that leave out the African history and now attribute it to others. I'm not flattered. It's just another way of pushing our history and accomplishments to the side, a tradition learned from their European ancestors. History does repeat itself, especially when the oppressed forget or sell out.

  • The best part of this was these girls stepped, and didn't use music or new-age dance moves. They kept it pure like the original steppers are supposed to. They probably understand the Divine 9, more than the original 9 and that's why this wasn't even close. They STEPPED and left it all on the floor!

    Don't hate...just congratulate.
