They listen to each other pretty good. Roman doesn't challenge or overwhelms Di Meola the way McLaughlin does, and Al seems to be perfectly relaxed here if not bored a little. But Roman is quite talented. I have been to his concert, he is good, trying to find his way.

Don't be surprised, Ovations are stellar, they just get a bad rap from all the traditionalists for having a composite body. While tradition is nice, if someone overlooks an Ovation, they are certainly missing out, just ask Al, lol

i didnt get to play with Meola very long when i saw him at a local shop a few years back

but i feel like i learnd quite alot just by jamming with him,same with Marty.F.

Nothing surprises me with Al! I've been lucky enough to have seen him with John Mclaughlin and Paco De Lucia, and in Return to Forever with Lenny White, Stanley Clarke, and of course, Chick Corea. It was for me a life-changing occasion, I never viewed live concert performances the same since.

This is not acoustique guitar its flamanco guitar. Cord are nyon and the handle is larger. That two of the better technical guitarist never born in this world.
