  • shep smith makes good points

  • Ooops...

  • Sorry, this is fox news?

  • 5.15 guy in favour of water bater says its torture... Freudian slip.

  • Hey shep.. do us all a favor and stick your head in a water stream. Man is a buffoon. I am an American and I gladly defend water up the nose to protect my nation.. GET OVER IT -- Shep is a moron for the Left always has been always will be. You think this is some memo game??? Grow up.. this is war. WAR. until you realize that you live in a fantasy land.

  • @RachTyrnty So what if your american. America is the constitution and its founding principles, to tear them up or ignore them is to DESTROY the nation you wish to protect. Torture is forbidden by them , the founders would be horrified at what is happening to the Republic.

Patrick henry said "Give me liberty or give me death" not give me absolute safety from terrorists or death...

Besides America would be safer if it''s government stuck to the constitution and advise of its founders anyway.

  • @CitizenBeta2 blah blah blah . SO NOT Tell me what AMERICA IS.. I know my country.. very well.. tear up the founding principles.. really they would be horrifed? HA do you know what went on during the Revolutionary War?? The Civil War???? the founders were not sitting there worried about water pipes up noses.. trust me. This rosy colored view is what gets us in this situation.. you fight and you win.. PERIOD. Torture, please. it was NOT TORTURE!E

  • @RachTrinity Well i'll tell you every thing that makes America great its constitution and its liberty, The notion anything else makes it great is just arrogance.

Well yeah the decent ones who believed in freedom form government like Jefferson Madison and Benjamin franklin would have I didn't say this was the first time america's founding principles were violated the very same people who signed the Constitution passed the Alien and Sedition Act, an act which horrified the likes of Jefferson.

  • @CitizenBeta2 In Texas under then-Governor George W. Bush, the state convicted and sentenced to prison for 10 years a county sheriff for waterboarding a criminal suspect... Bush did not issue a pardon for the sheriff.

Waterboarding was designated as illegal by U.S. generals in the Vietnam War

It was also called water torture when the Japanese did it to U.S POW's.

    en.wikipediaDOTorg/wiki/Waterboarding#World_War_II

I've nearly drowned before, I'd rather have splinters under the finger nails...

  • Shepard Smith is amazing.

Also if you think torture keeps "innocent Americans" safe, you're kind of retarded. By kind of I mean "really". Go fuck yourselves.

  • Shephard Smith is an A** Hole

  • Get Real! I am sick of people from every country calling us Stupid Americans. That woman was a stupid American. Shep has to worry about ratings, ...Napolitano lost a family member in the towers that day!! Put that into perspective!!

  • Terrorists deserve to be tortured, & if it can save tousands of lives of innocent people, deter the next crew of terrorists, & make America seem a little more intimidating? THANK GOD! Because there was obviously some impression that Americans are so stupid that anyone could pull the $h!t the did on 9/11 & Americans would ...what?...lay down & die, take a beating, apologize to the terrorists home countries?!

  • I also am not quite sure that torture is a good way of acquiring valid or useful information. But, if is not like the terrorists are defenceless little dumb animals. They are in fact terrorists.

Let's look at that sentence for a minute.

"If is not fair or humane to torture terrorists."

I don't know?! Call me whatever you want, but that sentence looks like an oximoron to me.

  • If we were not talking about murderers, terrorists, who attacked our country without provocation, I would say don't do it. But they are in the terrorist group for the sheer joy of killing & terrorizing people. I have no simpathy for them.

  • Look, bottom line, water boarding is tourture, but it leaves no scarz, & the people doing it are not going to let the prisoner die. They will revive them if they need CPR.

  • WOW!! Shep really did say it! Gasp! @ @ LOL!!

  • The way Shep says "oops" and then looks off camera afterwards is priceless....

  • I don't see what's wrong with torturing people who try to kill us and sometimes succeed

  • @Tribe1012 Because the people they torture are not the people involved with 9/11. Because most of the people they tortured were not guilty of anything except being Muslim and from the Middle-East. There are many reasons why we should never torture. If this is one nation under God, then we need to act like it. We don't torture.

  • @74mackd Except it wasn't torture.

  • @illusionistdave Waterboarding is torture. But people think that if there wasn't any loss of blood, then it wasn't that bad. Waterboarding tricks your body into thinking it is drowning, then you feel all the sensations of drowning. It was outlawed by the International community decades ago. If you allow your government to do this to "protect you", then you deserve whatever you get. If we are to be a country governed by the rule of law, then we must follow the laws that are in place.

  • @74mackd Umm who are YOU to say it's torture? I don't care what your opinion is.

  • "@illusionistdave "Who am I", someone who went through waterboarding during training. But, who are you to say it isn't? Sometimes I regret risking life and limb for inbread bastards like yourself. My brothers -in-arms died so people like you can be assholes. I would continue on with your worthless ass, but I think you are far to irrational to understand anything other than that useless garbage you use to fill that peanut sized brain of yours. So, good day.

  • @74mackd While I appreciate your service, it's not my fault you had to do to the job you signed up to do. Take some personal responsibility won't you? As far as peanut-sized brain goes, I went to college on scholarship. Many servicemen and servicewomen, though not all or even a majority of them, have the only option of going into the military to get money for college because they don't have the brains or academics to get scholarships. So don't talk to me about intelligence.

  • Ive never agreed with anyone on Fox, shepherd, youre the first :)

  • @realbeereels Totally agree. Shepard is awesome!

  • and Shelp you ARE a pompous ass.

  • You think waterboarding is torture? Baha man you people are sheltered. That is NOTHING compared to the past and maybe a beheading. Those videos are all over the internet, take a look at those before you start blurting out that America is the worst country on earth because a few suspected terrorists were roughed up a bit.

  • @clay180 excatly. I especially hate it when people start saying it's "inhumane" to blast loud music for hours as small torture. I guess, according to these people, all concerts should be shut down

  • WOW! back in serbia we used to stick poles jup ur ass thru ur mouth? slash ur back and start peelin ur whole back.

  • @TryDeletingMe And in soviet russia, we dont torture terrorists. Terrorists torture you!

  • Some of you people are so short-sighted. Would you rather enemy combatants surrender to our troops or fight to the death? The way we treat our prisoners is the most important thought in a person's mind when he decides to surrender or fight to the death. Which combatant do you think will be easier to defeat? If you lack the morals to resent torture, then at least consider that.

  • they wouldn't want to leave me alone in a room with a terrorist or three... I'd have them sumbitches so fuckin black and blue they'd fit in a crayola box

  • I wish we could REALLY torture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shephard Smith is an apologist with no clue.

I don't give a fuck how anyone treats terrorists.

  • That's just so sad!

What kind of example are we willing to set? Not all of the prisoners are terrorist. Today it seems like most af them are innocent..

What about humanity? what will be the difference of us and them if we continue in such matters?

  • It does not seem like most of them are innocent!

Most of them were picked up on battlefields,

What it seems like is that we don't have enough evidence to charge them.

Terrorists do not have any feelings for humanity, so my statement stands.

I don't give a fuck how anyone treats terrorists.

I know how they treat others.

  • @AlexiusComnenos i love you for saying this.

  • No single Arab or Muslim TV Chanel showed UAE torture video. You cover me and I cover you. Simply amazing.

  • Fucking Idiots!

  • The coated has been sugered.
