my switch blade when i poen it it opens almost all the way but u still have to push it a little more WHAT SHOULD I DO

oil it. just take some wd40 and spray it all over the button/lock/releasing unit or just basically close it and spray from the top down and then it should work. thts what hapened to mine and it works now

I have a genuine stiletto, I think it was my dads, its acient, but the handle was cracked and falling apart and the spring was missing, so I tore it all apart to salvage the main parts. Damn this thing was made good, took me forever of prying it with vise grips to rip the two peice apart to get the blade, the lock and the hammer out.

I need to find a new spring for it then I'm going to build a new handle, but I dunno where to get a diagram of the blade so I can do it. Anyone linkage to one?

You should speak to someone who knows much about the structure of a stiletto. Since you have an older knife, I wouldn't do a repair job like that myself.

I thought cool hand cutlery wouldn't sell you switches if you aren't a cop. (and i need some good reliable sites to buy from, i just bought a Frank Beltrame 9BT Black Widow Stiletto Automatic from knifezilla but they are a horrible site because it took it forever to get there and a few weeks later the handle cracked pretty badly and they "fixed" it -and by fixing it they only glued it- when i sent it back, but like it took them 5 months to send it back. so i need new handles too... : \ help

Knifezilla in my opinion really isn't reliable, in my opinion. At cool hand cutlery, I talked to the owner before hand to make sure I got the best quality knife, and I did. I have two stilettos both by RB.

If I were to get filework on my stiletto, it'd be by a professional. Real Italians are not cheap, and I'm not gonna go screwing it up. I'd rather have it custom fileworked by a pro or factory fileworked.

Haha, I've been really busy, so I sort of forced myself to do this video early. It was easier than I thought. You getting a Frank Beltrame stiletto anytime soon?

Unfortunately, no. With the economy the way it is, I can't afford to buy any more knives at this point. I've already purchased a lot of Spydercos and Benchmades (of which I've taken a liking to).

HOWEVER, I do plan on getting a Beltrame in the distant future once the dust settles...
