Must find this game! I'm a gamer of every and all RPG games. I hear this was one of the first and most best RPG on PS1 at its time. By the graphics, music, setting and battle system, I dont doubt it. One question. Does this seres have sequels and if so how many?

@GreenQuasar I can only recommend this for you, Wild Arms was for me personally the best RPG ever :)

And yes, there are sequels, but not in storyline, just other games. There are six other parts as far as I know: Wild Arms 2 also for PS1, Wild Arms 3, 4 and 5 for PS2 and a remake of this Wild Arms also for PS2, and Wild Arms XF is for PSX.

But there might be some errors^^"

@trinhliem2006 Thanks a bunch dude. I did do my research and find out about the other sequels. I even heard one of them, I forget which one, but if you fight a certain monster or go to this certain spot in the game durring story, the game freezes and crashes. I will give this one a look though. Looks incredable! Only problem, ebay isn't a good place to start like I do with most my games. Got any suggestions?

I can't remember the name of the characters,but the first time i played this game,it actually charmed me regardless of it being quite old.

I found the whole bandanna thing and a rocket launcher to make me laugh against the zombie boss.

It felt like:ZOMBG!! resident evil rpg thing and was kinda funny.

The first thing I noticed when I played this game was how the movement engine was literally copied from Zelda 3. Notice the dashing? Picking up/pushing objects? Bouncing back when you hit a wall?

That was the original shortening name for the playstation, but once original slim playstation came out, called the PS One, everyone began calling it the PS1 instead, Then Ps2 came out, and it pernamently stuck.

As for the remake graphics....I notice no difference so how are they crappy...It's just the regular game imported to the PS3

Actually a psx was a Sony digital video recorder with fully integrated PlayStation and PlayStation 2 video game consoles...never got released out of japan...no one knows why the ps1 its commonly known as psx

@ucg102 It was called PSX before this PSX thing you mention existed. They call(ed) the old model PSX and the smaller one PSone. There wasn't really any other playstation at the time so there wasn't any need to call it something like PS1 until, of course, the PSone was released, which I think was around the time the PS2 came out. I think people just called it PSX because we all refer to it that way. I don't know how we went to GCN for Gamecube though. People called it NGC early on.

Yeah it's one of my favorite classic RPG's. I also like Final Fantasy 7,8, and 9. But one thing is for sure- my all time favorite PS1 classic is Chrono Cross. Chrono Trigger was alright too, but Chrono Cross was the ultimate RPG for me.

coolrom, romnation, any site like that will have it, although psx games dont work the same as other emulators, u need the emulator, the sound,game and controller plugins, and do the whole ISO thing, it can be done its just not easy...

First of all, its retarded not reterded. And also its a gameplay test and not a walkthrough video.

Then, Wild Arms is far better than Beyond the Beyond in almost every era , Character development, grafics, mechanics, story , music etc

I respect that Beyond the Beyond was your first RPG experience But that doesnt make it better , at least for everyone.
