THe 80's sure was the time for the super couple and Days had 'em galore! Bo & Hope, Kim & Shane, Mike & Robin, Kayla & Steve...they really played up the romance back then. I saw that mike & Robin's first time was in November of 86...their story-line started in January of that year I think. The writers really knew how to drag out a story AND keep us interested...these days people are hoppin' in and out of bed so fast, you can't keep it straight who's with who...no character commitment anymore!

@tgreer72 Oh definitely "the time for the super couple". Those dragging out stories always kept us yelling at our TV screens. Sitting at the edge of our seats and kept us interested for sure.
It is sad how much it has changed over the years. Or maybe I am too traditional, lol

Mike and Robin didn't last very long either, right? I remember Mike really liked her and she had a hard time accepting him because of her father and beliefs.

No, they didn't. :( They finally(!) slept together & then she ended things and broke his heart! LOL, She frustrated me terribly. She'd commit and then turn around the next day and take it all back. Hilarious though that she showed back up in Salem with Jeremy. She was in Salem long enough after they slept together for there to be no doubt that she didn't get pregnant! Good drama for Mike and April though, lol. (Hope I remembered all that right. :-p Can't believe I remember it at all! lol!)
