The vamp 2 has great distortions and incredible simulations of the great guitar combos. If you want the real thing(s) go spend a million bucks because that is what it will cost you. Learn to play 1 note right rather than 10 fast. :)

i own a v-amp, the ''distortions'' on it sounds like plain shit, but the cleans can be quite amazing

The footswitch switches between the five presets (A to E) within each of the 25 banks

As the name tells you pal, "footswitch" means that you switch presets with the foot ; D to the left A-B-C-D-E and then there are 25 "levels" with 5 presets each ; D
