  • "Enter your text here"...Uh, can I say "Dayumn!"?

  • Who needs a seaplane endorsement? lol Awesome landing, I would have soiled myself.

  • Fuckin A man.

  • sick landing!!

  • One way to clean your plane. xD

  • Wow that's short !

  • one way of cleaning the under carriage

  • Nicely done...

  • i love talkeetna

  • I've watched this video 30 times...Neat.

  • Beautiful!! I love 170's.

  • very short landing too

  • Сказочный мудак...Очень легко мог скапотировать и эта запись,последнее воспоминание о нем.

  • at first i thought special fx were used in this video. when your landing it looks like your coming at the camera at only a few mph.

    cool stuff

  • GOOD IDEA FOR A SHORT LANDING

  • what size tires are you running to do that? they seem a tad bigger than my monster retreads. I have the 0-300 in mine, i might be able to get into a spot like that, but taking off would be a different story :P

  • tires are 8.50 x 6. for that kind of stuff i wish i had the 31" bushwheels.

  • nice one

  • SWEET!! great vid!

  • that was preety cool

  • Just wondering, are you running the original O-300D in your 170 or do u have a different engine in it? I noticed your cowling is different from the original.

  • The engine is a Lycoming O-360. 180hp

  • You dont see videos like that every day. That was cool.

  • Nice video is the reason why you stopped so fast is cause u touched the water im not sure so id thought id ask :)

  • water helped slow the plane down.....but a fine line between slowing down and nosing over.

  • love the movie.

  • stoked you dig it!

  • With a long lens, sure the distance is somewhat distorted.

    However, nonetheless,

    Pretty dam impressive.............

  • i liked the big lens effect. i paced out the distance at 200'. i'm not much of a pilot, but i don't think i could have stopped in much less space. a cub could take off and land in that distance....haahaha

  • wow hes good..!how the hek he land the plane in a short distance ...wow! man your good...are you a bush pilot? lols!

  • @MrWildfire78 not really a bush pilot, but do enjoy flying off field.

  • @talkeetnaair thats the best landing ive ever seen..ill bet when you touch down in the water your elevator is full up..thats awesome man nice...

  • Best video I've seen this week.

  • preaty impressinve,,nice job!

  • lol def need to throw a pair of tundras on that thing.....nice flying!

  • Stupid, but precise.

  • @jahva13 yeah, i scored low on the SAT....about 30, but when 50K is at stake even someone stupid like me wants to be precise. haha

  • @talkeetnaair I know your reply was an old one but I got to tell you that has GOT to be the best comeback in youtube history man I laughed A BUNCH!

  • Very nice landing. I'm impressed.

  • Awesome landing, i think you need some bush tires on that thing ;)

  • great skills cap, Im a skydive pilot and i know what general aviation is about congrats ;)

  • cool landing dude!!!!!!!

  • i own a 182 b with 850. sixes on the mains and 650.sixes on the nose wheel i almost bought a 170b have you flown the 180 or 182? whats your take on high altitude big loads short runways 182 80 or 170?

  • I've flown a 185, but not a 180 or 182. density altitude is always a consideration (temps, actual altitude, fuel/load) etc. You'll have to scope out your owner's manual. good luck and have fun!

  • yeah. well i fly high density altitude all the time. the lowest i ever get is 6500 feet. so i do a lot of hight density mountain flying. but i was wondering because i thought maybe a 170 a or b with a franklin engine conversion could outfly my 182. thanks Happy landings

  • can't comment. haven't flown a 170 w/convsersion or a 182. Both great planes. ciao, c

  • Very Impressive..!!!

  • Did you do all the mods on your 170 yourself? I'm about to buy a 170 that already has the 180 gear, one peice windshield, scott tailwheel, cleveland brakes, etc. It still has the Conti O-300 though, and I would love to do the STC mod for the 180 Lycoming.

  • Very, very impressive. Looks like yours is converted to Lycoming? What horsepower? I have a landing on here but it is dreadfully boring compared to yours.

  • Lycoming O-360-AIA. 180HP w/ Harzell c/s prop. It's a great set up, and the 170 is a sweet all around aircraft.

  • That's the shortest Cessna landing I ever saw!...How far was the camera from the water?

  • About 250' from water to camera. Fun stuff!

  • OutSTANDING! Wish I lived where you live and could fly in that environment every day.

  • Hi AgCat- you need to get up to Alaska and burn some AvGas. Spectacular place to fly!

  • i'm impressed, considering the lack of tundra tyres.....

  • 8.50 x 6's. Tundra tires would be sweet, but expensive. Most places I've gone the 8.50's work great...plus less torque on the gearbox and drag.

  • Wow. Wasn't sure where that was going at the beginning but very nice ending shot. Good work.

  • Fun to splash in water! Slows the plane down pretty quick too.

  • very nice wiew

  • nice landing! and nice job and the filming it looks good!

  • Nice cameron--just like a super cub landing!
