this is one of my absolute favorite songs of all time.... ive seen the Crowes many times.... they NEVER dissapoint... and they ALWAYS sound GR8!!!... thank you for posting.. and MANY thanx to the Black Crowes!!!
@vasilmaxkarl sorry didnt say that right Rich was stage right. from the crowd he was on the left. never seen them b4 but all these vids show luther stage right and rich stage left? they were oppisite from what u see here.
not much of Black Crowes fan, but heard this song the other night in a bar and said "hmm, that's good I wonder who it is" and then heard the singers voice by itself and then I knew who it was. Good stuff
saw this one @ house o blues couple weeks ago (boston) . electric set, one of the best performances i have ever seen . first crowes show for me . top two or three ive been to, nice small venue, 8 or 10 feet from Rich. little strange, Luther on the far right, rich on the left?
@thornbuh . Tomatos and potataos are both veggies, but they're different, so how can you compare? As for Luther, like MLB, every Player hits the ball different and you never hit a RH to the same spot! MrStankonit is right! They just jammed in Dallas 2nite. Chris, Rich, Steve's energy is as stellar as in the nineties! ....this line up is the tightest! It's all Zen!

why has nobody posted a lesson for this song.....all the suck ass music on here that people are trying to post lessons for, but this one goes without......cmon people!
this is good, and i saw them 2 weeks ago. i have to say they just arent the crowes that i'm used to. their new stuff is very country roots like especially the"until the freeze" stuff. if you ask me they just arent as kick ass without marc and eddie.
@ryan401 I know what you mean, but they aren't the young men they used to be. I think that "Until The Frost" is exactly what they needed to mature into, and while marc is undisputedly the man, Luther is not to be fucked with!
@ryan401 i hear what you're saying. the thing is, is that if marc ford was hangin'out at Levons barn at this time i think you might be singing a different tune. I personally think before the frost is an incredible record. but i'm definately not a big fan of Luthers. he doesn't have an edge at all. and seeing and hearing him play the older tunes sometimes makes me ill. it's a shame. they should just get Audley back. if marcs a no go.
iwas fortunate enuff to see them a few times but once was in nc at place holdin a hundred or two and i was close enuff to unplug the gitfiddles... man, best concert ever, it felt more like a group of friends ina room. all the smoke and dreads there... awesome best part i didnt know any1 but i met somebody as soon as i pulled up and we were drinkin and tokin within 5 or 10 minutes lol and it was some1s bday so everyone signed a card and drew something and passed it down lol amazing day
Yeah I've seen these guys at least 8 times with many different line ups and they never fail to come through with a great show. I agree if there in town go check em out.
@MrStankonit . MrStankonit is right! They just jammed in Dallas 2nite. Chris, Rich, Steve's energy is as stellar as in the nineties! ....this line up is the tightest! It's all Zen!
adam has settled into the band very nicely...alot of people were down on him during his early tenure in the band (which was when this was recorded) but its not easy to learn a catalouge of hundreds of songs in a few months, and Ed was a hell of a player to replace
Steve Gorman is the drummer. Check out the customized bass drum head. It's an old Guinness advertisement with his last name instead of Guinness. Bloody brilliant.
Anybody know what kind of keyboard (esp. the model) that is? I've been seeing those more and more, and I'd like to get my hands on one, being a jazz pianist.
Is that Marc Ford on the left? Back with the crowes and wearing the leather coat richie aprielle gave tony soprano? Great guitar player, but what the fuck next?!
AMAZING

Luther sounds better in acoustic shows like this. His plucking doesn't work that well. Who is the keyboard player? He's not that great.
