I bought it back in 1993 from some one that was in the fire dept. My step dad says he remembers the same gen. when he was in the F.D. I told him it may be the very same gen he used 30 years ago
not trying to burst your bubble or anything but if that was out of the 40's it would be huge like mine and have a water cooled 4 cyl (no vid yet). yours is kohler powerd which puts it no earlier than the
1960's. still awsome you saved it. kohler light plants are built to last and i will get mine running soon. my grandpa used to use it. nothing wrong with mine!
what i ment to say is it is powerd by a kohler air cooled engine. not the liquid cooled 4 cyl it replaced. i hope to show a video of my kohler running sometime
you are very lucky to find it now use it sparingly but less once per week to run the garage lights as you are working on ....? whatever
