  • I liked it, brought back memories. I would not call it definitive, it doesn't scratch the surface. No history. Montmartre being a hill had wind, so originally it was covered with windmills to grind the flour. Place Blanch (white) was named because it was always covered with flour. 2 windmills remain Moulin Rouge (painted by Lautrac) and Moulin de la Galette (painted by Renior). I wish you would have included it. A galette is similar to apple pie, it looks like a pizza w/ apples. definitive?
