Excellent job! Looks fantastic. I think if my guys were all outside pups that I would have made something like this myself. I know it's been about two years since you posted this, but had you considered a small externally mounted HVAC system for it? They do make them.

@tokdl Thank you, yes they do make HVAC systems for dog houses. If you google it there will be more than a few outfits that sell them. I considered it and unfortunately my funds at the time didn't allow for me to add the system.

@HiJackZX1 sorry I haven't responded sooner. I don't know why I added the music, but it came out kinda creepy cool :) They don't fight for the doorway no, but that's not to say other dogs wouldn't.

I want to build a dog house of my own and I was wondering if you can tell me the dimensions of your house ... and one other thing, i live in Egypt in northern Africa and I was wondering about the heat and what i would do in the dog house to maintain a good temperature inside the house for the dogs ... thanks from EGYPT

Wow! I love Egypt!! The dog house is roughly 6' wide by 4' deep. Like I said in the video, the house is insulated with styrofoam insulation inside the walls and there is more inside the "attic" but it's not styrofoam, it's a loose blend of recycled paper product.. I bought it at the hardware store. I realize you have a higher heat threat in Egypt so I don't really know what to advise, check your local building codes for human dwellings and do something similar perhaps? Thanks for commenting :)

Insulation in walls is 1 1/4 inch styrafoam (insulfoam) and in the attic I dumped a bag of the loose stuff, like what they blow into attics in real houses.

i would say it's extremely elaborate for a dog house. I was getting stressed about building a regular dog house for my pit..lol Nice work man your dobes are going to appreciate it

Thx :) We run a Doberman Rescue here so technically the doghouse will be "shared" by anywhere from 10 - 14 dobes as they get to spend time in the yards in rotation.
