Marshall Field Mansion, Historic Prairie Avenue District

I used to have a wonderful book on what they used to call the "sifted few" that lived on that street.....Praire Avenue.

Actually, this was the home of Marshall Field, Jr.-- the store founder's son. Field, Sr.'s house was at 1905 Prairie and was torn down in the 50's.

Yes the Marshall Fields old home converted. I really hate the fact that they did what they did to the building. Marshall Field's home should of stood the way it was meant to be. Thanks for this video.
