But I still might look into it, due to all of the good I hear about it.. Mechas just kinda bore me to death since there's SO many animes based around them.

@VocaloidSakura stupid complaint. there are plenty of animes about romance, slice of life, martial arts too. mecha is one of the more interesting genre that japan came up with.

@Getterzinger Of course. I'm not particuarly complaining. I just don't enjoy mecha, and the large amount of series based around them. And of course, there's lots of other genres out there, more so than mecha. I just don't find mecha interesting.

@VocaloidSakura you don't have to, but a show can have several genres within itlself so even if a show has mecha, I can still appreciate it for the other stuff. I don't like romance, but a few romance scenes aren't going to ruin my experience. I think english anime watchers don't appreciate mecha enough in my opinion. Animating 2d mecha is a skillful job, and it shouldn't be taken for granted.
