I'm not going to lie, I bought POTO with the assumption that even if I hated the film and music, that Emmy could get me through it because I find her highly attractive and corsets are super-sexy.

I had to turn it off not even half way into it, because I had no idea what the @#!% was going on. I couldn't tell if the plot was progressing or not because she made the same @#!% face!

It is a sad day when a pretty girl in Victorian wear can't hold my attention...

She's a horrid actress. To those of you who think she just keeps a blank stare and her mouth open through POTO because she's being seduced - guess again. She did the same thing in Nola, Poseidon, and every other movie she's been in. Even in non-emotional roles, too. So I think her inability to keep her mouth shut and show emotion is her problem, not her character's.

Oh you wicked, wicked person!! Here we see the vast gamut of emotions la Rossum and a coloratura soprano singing all the notes which Emmy couldn't sing and beyond. Emmy just strikes me as pretty, but instead of sweet and innocent, just quite pallid with vacant eyes.

i understand its a parody, but perhaps her expression is always "the same" because you chose scenes where there was little emotion to be felt, or when she is supposed to be hypnotized, in those scenes, its expected that she won't express emotion.
