I didn't mention taxes, but if you'd like to touch upon the subject, illegals consume 9 billion more than they pay in, each year, in Calif. alone. And so what if an illegal's been here "a long time"? You want to reward a person for successfully avoiding the law for a prolonged period? That makes no sense whatsoever. "Fines" are a joke. Deportation and permanent bars to reentry are deterrents that assure we don't have the same problem 20 years from now.

Firstly, me and the people I hang with oppose illegal immigration, not "hispanic/mexicans". Secondly, where on Earth did you get the idea that "white people" do not work "hard jobs"? Where do you live, young lady? You've never seen non-Latinos work as maids, bus boys, gardeners, fruit pickers, and other physical laborers? The answer to your question: Other people would do those jobs. People who need the work and will accept the pay.

whoever u are! i work at a restaurant...Mcdonalds and there are barely even white people working there! im problaby the only white person there! i dont stay behimnd bcuz they care 4 me....hispanics r very hard workers!! one of my friends parents work at the fields! i remember going with her to leave them lunch and they were working inside a corn fiel supporting hotness that reached up to 100degrees! but this people have to keep working afraid to complain & getting fire & i dint c a white person

Well, that just goes to show you. I'm 45, but 30 years ago (in Santa Monica, CA) I worked in a McDonalds and most of the employees were black and white. The point is: Latinos are not the only ones who will do physical work. If this country was not flooded w/ illegal aliens those jobs would still be performed ... just as they are where in parts of the country where there aren't illegal aliens or lots of Hispanics.

I don't care what color you are b/c what you write reveals volumes about how you classify and judge people based upon pigmentation ("white people don't work hard jobs ... hispanics are hard workers ...").
