Couldn't you make yourself an EDF unit with your 3D printer Brad? or would it be cheaper/easier to buy one,for a RC jet ;-) still that fan you have there works ok and sounds the part when it spins up ;-)
@startazz I could make myself an EDF, but it would never hold up to the forces applied to injection molded/metal parts. I may be able to get a plane to fly using a 3d printed one, but it probably be worth my time just to try it.
Is it possible that you will get an SLS printer?

@chrhem1234 I only use FDM here. I actually just purchased a Stratasys Fortus 250mc and awaiting for its delivery before the end of the year.
