We just crossed the Atlantic to NY in December 2011. We were on Deck 11, so they must have changed the rooms during the refit in 2011. The rooms do look small but they serve their purpose, and once you get on there are many things to do, even though some events got cancelled due to rough seas. We had a great time, great people at our dinner table, and look forward to cruising Cunard again, maybe on the British Isles cruise.
the room looks a lot smaller in videos than they actually are in person my recent voyage on QM2 I initially thought we had been upgraded from our P3 to a queens grill suite you certainly did the transatlantic in style the grills are for me the only way to travel with cunard
On the first and last night of your voyage, the dress is casual. During the voyage, evening dress is either formal (tux or dark suit) or semi-formal (sport coat or blazer). During each day, dress is casual. By the time you board, the QM2 will have had its first major interior up-fit since its inaugural voyage. So this room may have different colors or wall designs. What is your voyage identifier (begins with an M followed by three numbers)?
Hi great video, i have booked the EXACT same room 10084 for a return trip to new york early 2012. It was great to see the exact room i will be in and wondered if i could email you for some info on dress code as well as a few other questions about the ship...is this at all possible? Marcus x
@sleepyboyuk Curious if this is your first crossing aboard a Cunard vessel? I am seriously considering placing the down for an Eastbound, wondering if it is as priceless and memorable and experience as it looks! Congratulations BTW on the stateroom booking.
you were so lucky to get on this ship, never mind the ignorant comments below, those people are brainless. I hope you enjoyed your cruise, i am planning on going next year, very nice cabin.
You will certainly enjoy your trip. QM2 sails smoothly even through rough waters. There is much to do: interesting lectures, live stage shows, Shakespeare plays, afternoon tea, evening dancing, watching the ocean, walking the deck. Time on board goes too quickly each day.
I can see its going to be one of those things that should last forever, I love the Qm2 and i see it like living in a dream, I hope you continue to upload videos like these I really appreciate people who go out of their way to show people things like this that others may not get to exprience be it medically or financially, it gives people hope and determination to pursuit their dreams be it sailing on Queen Mary 2 or some other novel endevour
@CanadianMonarchist1 If you are Canadian like me, I too dream to go on the Queen Mary 2. She is very beautiful ship. I can say that this video can teach some people to follow their dreams. And that is what I'll do. I hope to go on the Queen Mary 2 this year. Well that's all. Just want to share some of my thoughts with you. See ya!

It certainly is a LARGE stateroom! I am used to having to step out of the bathroom simply to towel off usually. Very nice!
