It's a challenge using the public restrooms here. For starters, most of the time they are just ew. Second, that whole pick a cubicle rule sucks... especially if you got the runs. Ya know what I mean? Third, most of the time there are females occupying the whole counter in front of the sinks. They stand in front of the mirror fixing their hair/makeup for a long ass time. Most have no consideration for those who want to practice good hygiene &just wanna wash their hands. Ay nako.

haha. i have the same feeling about public bathrooms, especially the one's at the neighborhood park. but the thing i like about our bathrooms here in the US is we have toilet seat covers (which i think the philippines should adapt). i think only park bathrooms are the worst! What's missing in Philippine public restrooms are toilet seat covers. When I came back to the Philippines for a visit in July this year, I DID NOT KNOW HOW I'D BE ABLE TO PEE because (as you said) everything was wet including the actual seat. Disgusting! So I pretty much had to squat and hope that I'm aiming right at the bowl. UGH. I dreaded peeing in public restrooms there. Every establishment has to seriously consider investing a few bucks for seat covers.

I so agree with you on this. I just really don't get it why public restrooms are stinky, dirty and wet all the time; amidst the fact that someone's tasked to clean it the whole time. Aghh. I think I might have already told you of my public restroom pet peeves. Here's the short version. 1. Snots on wall 2. Not flushing when done 3. Pee on seat or floor 4. On cell when on the can 5. You see booger on the wall?! YUCK! I never experienced that, thanks God! I also hate it when I go inside the bathroom and ang ihi sa floor lalo na tayong mga nurses kasi we're wearing white pants and ang hirap maglakad makalapit lang sa toilet bowl. Gosh!

The question is so easy! Haha. Since I'm working in an Arab country and Gaaaad i'm so stressed na with the Arab peeps' smell, I would give up my sense of small. Lalo na now I'm so pissed na with my doctor's bad breath!!! Huhuhu :(
