I'm not deaf, but I wanted to watch one of these cause I saw it on the yahoo homepage I think. When I listened to the song and the video, I could totally see how the signs correlate with the words. When I turned the volume off and watched it, I could barely figure it out. Makes me want to learn ASL

misssunshine919 ASL is different all over the US it's not universal and ASL in lets say Washington where I'm from is different than ASL in Montana or Pennsylvania so just because some things aren't signed the way you sign them doesn't mean that she is sighing things wrong. The only way people sign things wrong is be sighing things how they say it which is called see sign which is an actual form of signing that little children are taught, not to be rude you just sound ignorant. sorry.

@misssunshine919 There's an art form to interpreting songs to another language. A computer or a robot can translate word for word to another language, that's easy. Ally isn't interpreting the words, why do something so simple? She is interpreting the meaning of the song, which is much more important. It takes some intelligence to understand the meaning of song, to really understand the point of the lyrics, and then translate it. Only a talented person can do that correctly. ;)
