@haven311 You are referring to a different song I am afraid. The words are different except for the one phrase (over hill over dale) and were written 450 years ago by Shakespeare... Somehow, I don't think 'And I serve the Faery Queen' would suit the USA marching song 'The Army Goes Rolling On'...
@henryvann You're right, sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe I just saw the title and didn't listen to your whole song. Although if there was a bit about serving the Faery Queen in the U.S. Marching Song, it might be a more interesting Army!
Very nice, but the piece calls for more dynamics. Quiet passages are too loud. When the flatted 5th is nailed on the last chord, it's chilling. This ensemble failed to stick the landing.
It's a beautiful rendition. The soprano has a lovely voice, although she is drowned out by the men. I think Shakespeare would be proud. ;)
