"First Creatures Out of Space in All History" how arrogant. No wonder we are still crawling like worms, the mass controls has been going on since before I was born.
OMG, THOSE MONKEYS ARE FROM MY HOME TOWN FROM THE ZOO IN MY TOWN THAT I LIVE IN, INDEPENDENCE KANSAS, IS WHERE THOSE MONKEYS ARE FROM AND ITS MY TOWN!!!!!! THATS FREAKEN AWESOME!!!
@horrormoviefan20 by the exhibited behaviour we can see this specimen is a monkey of the species "Americanus Retardae" and is always vying for an overt amount of attention for an insignificant fact that, while related to their habitat, had nothing to with them directly.
@jeremyhillaryboobphd I am not desperate for attention... all I am saying is that they are from my home town. I generally don't think much of my town, But its nice to have SOMETHING of value that was ONCE in our town. I may have acted a bit to over excited. But back THEN I hadn't realized how big of a part those monkey's played. And if you think I am anything like the typical person in Kansas I am not. I am actually a Liberal Democrat, and generally hate Kansas...
@jeremyhillaryboobphd Also, YES I realize I was acting a bit stupid in the comment, but judging someone based on ONE comment they made is illogical and closed minded. I am not a typical American. I am a Liberal Democrat, I am Agnostic. I have many Liberal views, and I realize America has its MANY problems. Is it so wrong that I got on Youtube and acted a little to excited? I just find it to be of some significance that those Monkeys are from my town.
@jeremyhillaryboobphd Though I didn't have anything to do with them. I WASN'T asking for attention for this fact. All I was thinking was that it was of some significance that they were from my town, I wrote that comment 6 months ago to. Also, your calling me a Retard, but did you take the time to look at you're grammar? I may make spelling errors, but I TRY to check my spelling errors. I am not asking for attention. I simply thought it was neat that they were from my town, and got to excited.
@jeremyhillaryboobphd I don't even remember writing that comment. I acted stupid in the comment. But I just thought it was interesting that one of the monkeys is from my home town... You don't have to troll me you know? I know a troll when I see one, and I can gladly say that YOU are a successful one. But I admit to the fact, that I didn't need to act so annoying in my comment...
@horrormoviefan20 hahaha waay too defensive but yeah i can see you have some sense, and yes your comment did not show that. I wasn't necessarily just referring to you but a generalisation of americans. I don't check my spelling and grammar, or attempt to even get it perfect, but if your going to get stickly about it probably better not to put retard as a proper noun in the same sentence :P. Also, Indepedence, Kansas? Come on... lol
You can see Able the space monkey alongside his pal, Dexter in Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian. Able gets to do slapping in this one, too.
So what really hapened to the monkey's? Did they actually send anymore, if they did how would we know that they'r not part of what life is there today if any?
The film shows the monkeys being retrieved after their flight into space. The larger monkey died a few days after the mission was complete, the smaller monkey lived nearly 30 years more.
A chimpanzee (an ape, not a monkey) was sent into space in 1961.
be afraid

Miss Baker is burried here in Huntsville Alabama at the Space and Rocket center.
My 7yr old daughter just loves this video about the monkey's! We have a picture of her uncle with Miss Baker in the 70's before she died.
