Well i mean i watched english dub before even seeing any of the japanese and i had no problem with it. Than when i saw the japanese version (for water 7-sabo arc current), i too found Luffys voice underwhelming in FUNimation. I think its just the one you get used too that changes your opinion. I thought the japanese voices sucked after watching the FUNi dub initially. Eh i don't like Naruto but yeah i guess it does a little.
