i thought he sounded fine...its not real singing is it....its kinda fake upper register stuff trying to emulate stephen tyler....his natural voice is a lot lower and clearer
@BLGames4Eva Vocal chord hemmorage? When did this happen? How? He sounds just like he always has. One who doesn't know about that wouldn't know the difference. I never did.
@Sidewinder9877 Yeah, this happened in the Late 90's. It happened right around when Still Climbing was being recorded. The vocal cords he uses to sort-of switch to that awesome high-pitched singing hemorrhaged, and he's been training to get better, which a lot of singers don't even try to do. This is also the reason for why Tom hasn't released his solo album; he wants his voice to back up what's on the cd. He's one of the artists I really admire because he cares what people think.of his voice.
Well hell, I hope Im that good when I hit 50....dont know if Ali's remark was serious or not, but singing again after nodules on his vocal cords and paralysis of the left cord is a miracle of determination
@FluffierPigeon .. and if you read up on Keifer you would also know that he suffered from vocal nodules, so he only have half of his vocal cords left!
@AliErgunes He underwent several operations, many doctors told him he had lost his voice, never again to sing, and never stopped fighting because he loves the music
is 50 years old is logical that you will not have the same sexy body
but its essence is forever.
He is considered one of the best singers and songwriters of the rock world
plays several instruments, and no one can match his voice and talented heartbreaking

who am I to tell veteran rocker tom keifer that I'm dissapointed ?
I guess it doesn't count that I think he's one of the most talented persons I know of
I guess it doesn't count that I still care enough to count him among my infuences
I guess it doesn't count that I feel ashamed of this performance just because I didn't pay to see it.
at this point I would be glad I didn't if I were a paying customer.
I demand tom keifer be saved from doing this ever again.

if I ever do a show like this to london , shoot me and zip up the body bag.
brilliant front man they call him
not after seeing this horrible performance
don't kill me , I'm not talkin about his voice , I'm talkin about the rest of it
if we talkin about his voice right here , I'm willing to call it just a "bad day at the office."

I never got why he chose to sing like that. He could sing a lot clearer and not have to have surgery on his vocal chords after every tour.

They sound awesome. Just like 1988 all over again. Glad Tom took better care of his voice than Don Dokken did. He sounds great. Keep rockin' Tom!!

@Sidewinder9877 Yeah, Tom has actually majorly improved his voice. He sounds great after a flipping vocal cord hemorrhage!
