I went to the same school as him. bakersfield california west high school. played with him as well a little bit my junior year on varsity football. led the valley in rushing yards and led the nation in rushing yards. he is a freak dude...no one wanted to tackle his azz LMAO. he isnt really cocky though...just fast as hell. strong as hell. he'll do just fine. only problem is his grades.

Being a running back in any conference is not easy. I just commend him for what he did as a true freshman. He has a chance to prove himself on the national stage next season against teams like Rutgers, UCLA, Wisconsin...etc. Fresno can run the ball against teams from any conference... that's our forte...

SC has the same academic standards as FSU. Anyone who gets the minimum NCAA requirement will qualify for SC. SC recruited him right before signing day but it was too late. He was already a Bulldog.

I am not from Bakersfield but I saw a interview with Ryan right after he signed with Fresno State. He said USC offered him about a week before signing day but he wanted to stay loyal to FSU who had been recruiting him a lot longer.

The reason why is Frenso St. stuck by him when his grades were bad and told him if he gets them up that they would offer, so when he got them up he stuck by his word of attending St. even though BCS schools were recruiting him.
