My wife and I drove across Canada from Vancouver to Toronto. We spent four days in Banff and Jasper area. It was June, 1980 and we got snow! Is Banff in winter colder than Toronto in winter? Toronto is at Southern tip of Canada but was really cold in winter for us. Brrrrrrr………

Have fun in Calgary. If you're into fine craft beer, check out the recently opened CRAFT Beer Market, or hit up the Wild Rose Brewery. Telus recently opened a new science centre called Spark by the zoo. I haven't checked it out yet. Also, pop into Cochrane on the way (if you aren't in Calgary) and pick up some McKay's ice cream. Yes, I live in Cochrane and work in Calgary... :P
