As an american college student with ADD (i know i know... "the fad disease of academia") who is currently struggling to finish a very shot (10 page) research paper, this just angers me. Even though I spend six hours working on assignments that others can finish in one, I would never stoop to this. Sure, I've cheated out of laziness here and there, who hasn't? But this just crosses the line for me as I sit here killing myself over a paper that my peers are paying for.
Im 100% sure the student has a language barrier. However, that doesn't mean she is stupid. It is just harder to express her ideas on paper. Furthermore, she may even have a disability like "Dyslexia". Its more ignorant to make fun of someone without looking at the big spectrum.

But when there is no clear plagiarism, and the work "smells funy" it is hard to prove it, and these students are not stupid, they are lazy, and they do boss administration against us...

I wrote papers for people in college. My mom wrote papers for people when she was in college. Senators' sons pay big money for those papers, and I encounter people every day who must have paid for their papers or slept with professors to get the piece of paper which entitles them to their job. This process uncovers the candidates knowledge and familiarity of the topic. All aspects covered in the thesis are fair game. Harder to catch this for undergrad 'papers' when it is paid for but still "original work".
For ESL students, this is a serious problem. Usually institutions will admit even the ones that don't have adequate language skills because they want them paying an international tuition rate. Once they're in, they don't receive any support from the university. I was a TA for a history class and we has several Chinese students there for business degrees who did not speak or write English and failed every assignment given to them.

Guard Airman because his dad made an exception for him to jump in line in front of thousands of hardworking Americans so he would avoid Vietnam (some of which died). He scored a 25/95 on the ASVAB test. You can't even become Army Infantry with a, ASVAB score of 25. In Yale his classmates called his work: "Less then desirable".

Although this story is to be expected, TYT exaggerated it a lot by reading out that E-mail. It was painstakingly obvious that it was a student who didn't have English as their first language, and presumably one who may not even live in the same country.

However, he claims he wrote a final thesis for a PhD student in sociology and papers for other subjects: history, cinema, labor, pharmacology, theology, sports management, maritime security, airline services, sustainability, city budgeting, marketing, philosophy, ethics, postmodern architecture, anthropology, literature, and public admin.
It's hard to believe his story isn't at least exaggerated.

I think the services are definitely mostly for non- native speakers, since even the worst english speakers can somehow manage basic sentences. The entire sentence structure from the emails seemed like an international student, which would mean they had money to blow since they're paying crazy money to even study here.

Mind you, this class consists of nothing but students who are apparently a cut above the rest and about to receive a bachelor's within the next year. Lo and behold, all three of my reviews were from girls: one black, and two white. The black girl's and one of the white girl's sounded just like the girl from this video.
