Ummm...no. This video game was released in 1998, around the same time that the first feature film came to theaters, it's true. BUT the series itself STARTED in 1990 with a pilot and became a full-fledged series by 1991. ALL of the "episodes" in this game are based on episodes of the series' EARLIER seasons before Dil.

Thorg (aka King Kong knockoff in purple, with Reptar as Rugrats' version of Godzilla) scared many kids in the actual episode itself, so no doubt that he'd do the same on a video game with choppy graphics and controls that--ahem--sucked worse than an infant with an empty milk bottle.

Omg, this was my favorite game EVER!!! I remeber playing it ALL the time. My favorite levels were finding Cyinthia(or however you spell her name), mirror world, and the store one(with that HUGE crab). OMG the one in toy world scared the CRAP out of me with that big monkey chasing me. God I miss it so much

Yeah Stu is funny. He reminds me a lot of my dad because Stu and his dad look the same, except Grandpa is an older version, and my dad's dad looks like an older version of him too. This was the only Rugrats game I've owned, it was very intuitive. As a game programmer I see why they programmed the movement to mimic babies but this could just be a result the camera control back then as 3D was just going mainstream. Still wish I owned the game but it had a lot of scratches and I think it cracked from moving a lot. If I can find a new copy I'll probably re buy or just download the rom. Regardless of age, this has a great replay value!
