I remember this day. Played at Doomhammer in vanilla. This most sertainly happened before the relase of TBC.

I remember Doomhamemr being one of the most overpopulated servers pre-TBC. The server basically crashed completely.

i raided in vanilla, and i do have to say the gunship battle in icc is pretty much on par with any raid before, so far icc is very epic, as epic as any other raid in the game

You should get something unique from this also, such as a tabard, prehaps the Northrend Expedition tabards, alliance get the Valiance Expedition, and the horde get the Warsong Offensive tabard.

Co-op with top guilds and the one that bangs the gong(or in this case, opens the gates to Icecrown) gets something nice, for example a Frostwyrm mount.
