@DaveCraig91 depends on type of bar. Some bars have different flex, depending on how they are made and what discipline they are for. (and how much you pay for them!)

It depends on your body proportions. Google "deadlift vs sumo deadlift" and have a bit of a look for an article which will tell you the difference. Basically though sumo (that style there) is a little more leg and less back than the conventional.
