  • Great highlights, I always enjoyed watching the Elf play. Why set the highlights to really horrible music, though?

  • Haha Nic Harris is absolutely hating Eric

  • y do alotta ppl get confused wit slots and wides? thats offensiv tuh uss slots >.<

  • @pinacoladaboyy slot receivers line up wide, they don't line up tight like an end. Slot receivers are wide receivers

  • WTF Techs getting killed 62-14 and he scores a touchdown and is talking shi$? He and Amendola have a tall mountain to climb to even touch Wes

  • @TheArthrighteous hes talking shit because the entire defense was holding and cheating for the entire game but got away with it, i think he said cheat all you want but im still got a big catch on your ass

  • @dwid1984 if you didnt notice him and nic harris were going at it earlier in the game

  • @TheArthrighteous Amendola led the league in all purpose yards this year, and I believe the year before that as well, he has 4666 yards his 2 years playing in the NFL. Wes had 4087 his first two years. Now Amendola doesn't have quite the yac but he isn't being used correctly , he has more deep speed and should be used to stretch the field more, Amendola would be better used as a number 2 receiver on the outside at 5'11 and 4.4 speed. Morris wasn't even given a shot to prove himself.

  • @dwid1984 Who cares!?! Wes is the all around athlete, he has always been known as that. So yeah Amendola has a long way to go. If I was nick harris I would've pointed to the scoreboard win the elf started taunting, it was a little too late anyway.

  • @TheArthrighteous if you had any reading comprehension skills you would see it wasn't taunting, he was the only person that would stand up to the Sooners who were cheating all game long, and the refs let them get away with it. Corruption in football! big surprise. Eric Morris was the only one who had the balls to call anyone out on it. Nic Harris was holding him all day long, pass interference etc.

  • dude, you are an idiot, he is not taunting, he is fighting back because the guy was cheating all game long. As for Welker, you are aware that he almost didn't get a shot to prove himself, right? He wasn't offered any scholarships, until a recruit or Texas Tech pulled out at the last moment Mike Leach decided to give the open slot to Welker, then he went undrafted, the Chargers cut him with the belief they already had a similar white guy in Tim Dwight,

  • then the Dolphins picked him up and Nick Saban wanted to cut him over Marcus Vick. It wasn't until Bill Bellicheck saw the talent that Welker had and traded two picks for him that he started to make an impact in the league. Bellicheck knows how to scout talent and use it to its fullest potential, routes that suite his ability. Amendola isn't being used to his fullest potential, much like Welker in Miami. Morris never got a shot. Danny Woodhead almost didn't get a shot

  • @dwid1984 Boooo Whooo, you know OU came to Tech 2 years ago and one of their wide recievers started taunting while OU was way behind. So was Tech cheating that game? That wide reciever looked just as much like a jackass, just like the Elf. And I never said anything about how any of them came up, I said that they have a long way to go to get to Wes Welkers level. So in the end all of these stats that you are posting make you look like an idiot because it has nothing to do with my point.

  • @TheArthrighteous so your gonna equate taunting to CHEATING. Every player on the field taunts at times. OU was CHEATING and getting away with it. You can't hold a receiver for his entire route. The refs were letting them get away with it.

  • @dwid1984 heres your comment idiot "dude, you are an idiot, he is not taunting, he is fighting back because the guy was cheating all game long." If you were intelligent and were able to read your past comments you would be able to see that I was making a point from your comment.

  • @TheArthrighteous heres your comment "If I was nick harris I would've pointed to the scoreboard win the elf started taunting, it was a little too late anyway."

then you referred to a game two years ago about players taunting which I can't say because that was 2 years ago and I don't have footage of it. "2 years ago and one of their wide recievers started taunting while OU was way behind.". As if a player doesn't have the right to talk crap when being held, obviously you haven't played

  • why you think Nebraska left the big 12? because the refs are in on it for Texas and Oklahoma and to a lesser extent Texas A&M. That player grabbed Cottam's junk for like 10 seconds and then he kicked back and got a flag for it. Amazing that Nebraska's 3 losses were Texas by 3, A&M by 3 and OU by 3. OU couldn't win without the refs help with an injured Martinez, the same with the rest. They had to do more wildcat for the bowl game and no passing attack.

  • Mike Leach is gone and Nebraska is gone so you can have your crappy big 12 with no real competition. Texas A&M will probably whoop OU and Texas next year anyway but they are at the bottom of the priority list when it comes to favoritism from refs when it comes to those 3 so OU can jerk Texas off for the next few years

  • Just google OU taunting Tech, it is a picture labeled taunting. I am not even going to get into a battle on the internet about boasting about playing football because its about the same as kissing your sister so if your ok with that then go ahead.

  • @TheArthrighteous yeah, because thats ACTUALLY TAUNTING. Were you on the field at this game? Is Eric Morris taunting about the catch? NO. Thats what can't get through to your brain. He said that the guy was talking shit and holding him the entire game. He barked back. The cameras caught that but not Nic Harris being a bitch. Notice AFTER the touchdown, Harris is again talking shit, you can see him moving his lips, go ask Morris what he was saying, he goes back to say something to him

  • he was just happy they were able to put something on the board after all of the cheating, Tech usually doesn't have that low of a score, not in the Leach era. Go look at the game against Ole MIss, does that look like a happy player? that was legit game, played evenly without cheating and refs against them, he has the look of defeat on his face even though he scored a td. Go watch the Nate Swift vid when Swift catches a big catch to put them in scoring position, Morris is pissed on the sideline

  • he is just a passionate player, if you aren't used to a smaller white guy with that attitude then so be it. He wasn't going to take shit from Harris in that game and he didn't. His qb celebrated the td against OU against him because he was on the same field knowing what ws going on. It was still the 3rd quarter.

  • so yeah if i had been in that situation, I would be happy to score a td, especially when the guy I scored it against said he would never ever give up another big play to "my white ass" . As far as kissing your sister, keep that nasty perverted stuff to yourself

  • @dwid1984 Taunting - To reproach in a mocking, insulting, or contemptuous manner. Whatever, you are actually emotionally attached to the situation so I know nothing will convince you otherwise. I am a Tech fan and besides the fact of who was talking shit you make the catch score the touchdown and stop all that third rate jr. high bullshit. Its the fact that we were down by 55 points and the ELF goes back to talk shit/taunt same thing, I dont see how you cant get that through your brain.

  • i went to high school with eric, im glad to see he is in the CFL, but i was disappointed he didnt make the draft. Just a note we got beat by Colt McCoy in 2003 in the 2A texas state semifinal to go to state. Shallowater vs Jim Ned.

  • He is a GA now at University of Houston...with Kliff Kingsbury

  • i remember watchin tha OU game and seein elf talkin shit to nick harris, and i was thinkin damn wat uh bamf

  • This song must have set a record for using the word nig--.

  • Julian Edelman is the next Wes Welker. What better mentor for becoming the next Wes Welker than Wes Welker?

  • is this guy in the NFL or not. I was really impreessed by this video, this guy does seem like the next wes welker, quick and fast and great hands. If hes not in the NFL, I will be surprized because size isnt everything.

  • hes in the CFL, along with Graham Harrel, his college qb. He was a kick returner/punt returner the last time I saw him. The problem is, the team that he is on has a guy just like him, a cfl version of Wes Welker, Weston Dressler who is also a great slot receiver.

  • will Eric morris ever move up to the NFL???

  • @dwid1984 now Graham Harrell is now playin for the Green Bay Packers

  • whats this song?

  • Sorry - too much attitude. NOT a Wes Welker.

  • why would you say he has attitude? because he is a passionate player, nic harris was playing dirty and he called him on it?

    watch?v=EdV_txH50cg

    watch?v=ap-4KAs26g8

welker gets back at guys too, he is constantly taking cheap shots from defenders

  • my name is eric morris :D

  • Yeah baby, Eric Morris. We boys from Shallowater!

  • i like this receiver hes not outstandingly fast but he catches very well he should have gone nfl

  • nic harris is a fucking bitch, im glad he got his ass owned in the national championship game. GET YOUR DAMN GUNS UP!

  • Another one I'm gonna miss. Great guy and an amazing WR, wish he got into the NFL but he seems to be likin' it up in Canada.

  • i really like how him and nic were chomping out there

  • yo did he get drafted?

  • unfortunately no. Went to Canada for the Roughriders and they signed him. Looked good as a receiver in training camp and was returning kicks and punts tin the regular CFL season, Was doing quite well as a returnman for the first few games until he got injured on a return, should be back in 6 weeks. In the CFL there is no fair catch. The fans seem to love him up there, think he will be another Weston Dressler, although i think he would have done well in the NFL

  • yeh i agree...but i have hope that jake sharp well be a tank in the NFL

  • the OU and TTech game was crap, the refs were being complete faggots

  • I remember Eric Morris being the only player to stand up to the dirty ass OU players

  • yep he was

  • ha look at the reff at around 1:30.

  • whats even funnier is look at the cameraman at around 2:04 when Morris scores that touchdown, it looks like Morris is humping the cameraman's head and body when hes trying to get off of him and the cameraman has a big grin on his face haha. Its even funnier in slow motion

  • this vid is better than most Crabtree highlight reels. awesome!!

  • thanks im glad you like it, well thanks to Eric Morris for providing the good play. lets hope someone realizes hes talented and signs him. I know the Bears let him tryout which i doubt they will sign him, I dont think Lovie Smith wants talented receivers.

I wish the Saints would pick him up. Lance Moore has a shoulder injury and Morris is more talented than Moore and has more upside and can fill in if Moore is not ready to start at the beginning of the season.

  • and He would do extremely well with Drew Brees at qb, hes probably the most accurate qb in the league. He threw for 5,000 yards last season and not one single receiver had over 1,000 yards.Eric Morris would flourish in the Saints system under Sean Payton. I wish Sean Payton would realize this. I know he likes his tall receivers but Lance Moore was productive and is the same size as Morris, so is Welker. Short quick receivers like Morris are simply too quick on those underneath routes

  • I mean tall receivers can get the ball on short routes due to height and being physical, but they wont gain much yards after the catch unless they drag a defender with them. A short guy who has shorter legs can make cuts quicker and weave in and out of traffic easier like a runningback. And for a guy that is 5'9 Morris is very bulky and tough. Plus he would have Drew Brees who can throw the ball right on target as long as his receiver runs his route precisely, which Morris excels at

  • eric morris is a great player, and i hope he tears it up in canada, but better than crabtree? are you out of your mind?

  • No dude, i said this vid is better than some Crabtree vids.....everyone knows Crabs is #1.

  • He said the video was better than most Crabtree highlight reels. Videos do not equal real life football talent.

  • Fuck Nic Harris the slowest most overweight safety in the NCAA!

  • if your white and short and play WR at Tech it seems that you get overlooked. Welker, Amendola, and Morris would all make fine NFL WRs. If Amendola is given a chance he will shine in Philly. My opinion is that all three of these guys will become great WRs if only given a chance!

  • @795re

I dunno, he wouldn't even be the fastest white guy for Philly.

    Kevin Curtis = BEAST

  • @795re They already are (:

  • i agree how he's very over looked cuz of crabtree

just like how welker is overlooked cuza moss

but too tall to compare to welker cuz welker uses his shortness to get lower than defenders, thus breaking more tackles

but overall, he is the next wes welker

  • Yeah, theres another Tech WR that has been overlooked, Danny Amendola, who has been bouncing around (just like Welker did his first few years) In 2007 he had 109 receptions for 1245 yards 6 tds, Morris had close to 800 yards and 9 tds and Crabtree had 1962 yards and 22 tds. Ppl wanna say Crabtree helped them out but its a team game, it works both ways, teams had to pick their poison, either double cover Crabtree and get burnt by either Amendola or Morris or leave him in single coverage

  • but they have different skill sets. Most teams have about two good coverage guys, that year in 2007 they had 3 guys that could burn you for yards in different ways. Teams had to pick their poison. Its similiar to the Moss/Welker thing. Ppl act like Welker is only good because of Moss, it works both ways. Teams either have to worry about Moss beating them deep or Welker getting a short catch and turning it into a long one. They both help each other out in getting open, it works both ways

  • Moss helps out Welker by being a deep threat and helping things stay open underneath. Welker helps out Moss by being a shorter quicker wide receiver that is kind of like a running back that catches, that gets tons of yards after the catch on short underneath routes, this helps keeps things open deep. Its a team game they both help each other. Teams have to pick their poison which makes them such a potent offense. Its not like they can just focuse in on Moss, they have to worry about both.

  • and Morris was a little injured in the first half of 2008 i believe, i think if he had been healthy, he wouldve had a 1,000 yard receiving season. But he came close with around 800 yards and 11 tds (receiving and rushing, 12 if you include punt returns) not sure how he was banged up but i read it in a few interviews regarding the team. I think it was a hamstring injury that he still managed to play with, but as the season went on his production went up against better competition

  • hope he gets drafted unlike wes welker

  • its so funy how they call it the 'elf' formation

  • This guy's a beast. Hopefully he doesn't have to go the undrafted route like Welker did.

  • for real man i personally think that he might be better than welker in speed wisea nd his quick cuts.
