Best Anime Scenes Ever (Theme: tension, part2 - Hunter x Hunter)

This scene is so much better on this anime than the new one. Honestly i don't like what madhouse has done so far, too much censoring, voice acting isn't as good, animation is pretty inconsistent. About the only thing i like from the 2011 anime is Hisoka's theme song.

I was so happy when he took the plate. Not so much because gon succeeded but because hisoka was surprised and in a way happy that gon managed to take the plate. Im glad I didnt kill you when we first met is what this face says 1:48

@Letmepickmynameidiot Right. :-) And especially at 2.00. And I also like how, brave as Gon may be, it is instinctively clear who's the real predator, and who's the lil scared bunny. Who stays a bit too transfixed staring at the approaching light box before fleeing. The tension of impending and growing danger  - see the hart-beating and the sweatdrops - are very well done in this scene. You cringe and wanna yell: run, you lil bunny! I mean, boy! Run! :-) Oh, the creepy smile of Hisoka...

@AniMageNeBy omg the heartbeats, it was only when I watched the series for the second time that I realized the heartbeats weren`t mine. And Gon, he couldn`t move, it took him some time to realize what he had done and then was paralyzed with fear. A terrific scene. it feels as if the viewer were in gon`s shoes, especially when Hisoka starts walking towards him...a real adrenaline rush.

that smile at 2:00 makes me wonder if Hisoka would have let Gon live if the hunter guy hadn`t stolen the plates

This truly was the most epic scene of this arc. wish you'd uploaded the part where Hisoka punched him and tells him to return the plate when he can deliver a punch like that to his face.

when I first saw this episode I was sooo scared O.o

and my heartbeat were as fast as gons hehehehe hisoka is sooo scary ^_^;
